Feyre is immortal.

After rescuing her lover Tamlin from a wicked Faerie Queen, she returns to the Spring Court possessing the powers of the High Fae. But Feyre cannot forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people – nor the bargain she made with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court.

As Feyre is drawn ever deeper into Rhysand’s dark web of politics and passion, war is looming and an evil far greater than any queen threatens to destroy everything Feyre has fought for. She must confront her past, embrace her gifts and decide her fate.

She must surrender her heart to heal a world torn in two.

I honestly don’t know if I should give this book 4 and a half star or 5 stars! I honestly think the hype is a little excessive so that’s why I kinda feel like taking a half star off but to be honest there isn’t any faults that I can find in these books. But I’m still not utterly obsessed with everything about it like most people seem to be!

You can find my review of A Court of Thorns and Roses HERE! Check it out first as I will be referencing it in this review!

So again I like the use of both matte and shiny parts to make the cover a bit more interesting! The cover itself is nice. What I don’t like is that on my edition the silver on the vines is flaking off! It had started doing this before I even started reading the book! It was fine when I received it in the mail and it had only been sitting on my bookshelf since, until I picked it up to read it and now that I have been reading for a couple days it is flaking off all over the place! I know that it doesn’t have much to do with the Art itself but that does piss me off!

So I still have the same opinion about the writing as I did for the first book. I still don’t fully understand the map to the right of Prythian as no one in the story has mentioned it except Vallahan at the north of the map.. So I just don’t it! Explain someone if you know!

So, I really enjoyed the plot of this book! It was FULL of twists and turns and a majority of them I did not guess was coming! Especially that ending! Everything that happened in this book was just intense and full on!

This next section could be little spoilery, so if you haven’t read ACOMAF then I wouldn’t suggest reading this next bit and just skip to the overall heading!

I don’t have much to say in this section to be honest! I have grown to really enjoy Cassian, Azriel, Mor & Amren! Out of all of them Cassian is my favourite out of Rhys’s inner circle! I’m just want to slap Lucien for doing what he is told rather than what is right. I want to punch Tamlin and tell him to wake the hell up and realise how much of a twat he is acting like. I grew to enjoy Nesta and Elain and I’m keen to see what comes next for them. Rhys is an amazing character I love how he will do anything for his court and does the right thing by all of his people and Feyre! Sometimes Feyre does irritate me a little, but overall I enjoy her character. I also enjoy that she always tries to do what is right for the people around her! And I kinda wish I had her water/animal power, that is awesome!

So overall I really enjoyed this book! I enjoyed it a little more than ACOTAR! I tried to avoid spoilers as much as I could for this book and for ACOWAR but it’s so hard as there is slight spoilers everywhere! I’m especially avoiding pinterest until finishing ACOWAR as I have nearly been spoiled a couple times on that app in the last couple weeks! I have a ACOTAR board so I have followed other ACOTAR boards so it’s hard to avoid!

Now starting ACOWAR! Kinda love but also kinda hate the 700 pages haha. But I will get there!
