A nightmare, I’d told Tamlin. I was the nightmare.

Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin’s maneuverings and the invading king threatening to bring Prythian to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit—and one slip may spell doom not only for Feyre, but for her world as well. As war bears down upon them all, Feyre must decide who to trust amongst the dazzling and lethal High Lords—and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

I still believe that this book is closer to New Adult than Young Adult!

This cover is doing the same thing as ACOMAF did! The silver of the vines are flaking off and I do still hate that these covers smudge at every touch and leaves finger prints all over it every time I touch it! That drives in insane, but the cover itself is nice, I love the design of Feyre on the cover! And all I love that background colour!

So I still enjoy the writing style of this series! The writing draws in you and you don’t want to put down the book! I also like that the map was put in every book, there is nothing more annoying than when the map is only put in the first book of the series!

I also love how Maas has added in again the odd chapter from Rhys’s POV and I also really like that it’s easy to distinguish between POVs, they feel different to read which I really enjoy!

When it comes to the plot I think this was the best book of the series! I loved all the twists and turns that this book took! The book kept you guessing the entire time! It was mostly unpredictable, there were a couple things I guessed but mostly I didn’t see it coming! Especially towards the end that was definitely full of turns I did not see coming!

Blog Titles (4) As this is the last book in the series I don’t want to say much about certain characters as it would be a tad spoilery! Overall I love all of Rhys’s inner circle, I’m starting to like Nesta more and more. Some certain characters redeemed themselves a bit from the last book! I also liked most of the High Lords that we finally meet in this book! And I don’t know how to feel about Eris, that’s about all I can say!

I do like that there is 3 diverse characters that we finally see in this book! There was a gay couple as background characters which was good to see and the third diverse character I’m not mentioning because of spoilers of course! I know that a lot of people have an issue with the Throne of Glass series because of the lack of diversity, so I like that Maas is trying to add some diversity in her books! Hopefully we will see a bit more in the companion books to this story!

Overall I really enjoyed this book, it was at about the same level ACOMAF, maybe a little better in my opinion! I love a lot of the characters! The plot was so well done and so well written! I’m keen to see what is to come next from this world!
