I’m bumping it up to 10 books per post instead of 5 this week, I may continue this but it will just depend on how I feel that day.
Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson
Honestly I will probably never actually get to this book. I have read The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson and I really enjoy it, but just in all honestly I probably won’t get to this one as I’m more likely to pick up a Fantasy book than this!
Verdict: DELETE
Exit, Pursued by a Bear by E.K. Johnston
This book is honestly only on my TBR list because of Hailey from Hailey in Bookland on YouTube. I know nothing about it, so here it goes to read the synopsis! So reading the synopsis this book does sound interesting and it sounds like it deals with a difficult topic (Trigger warning for RAPE). This is a book I want to read for those reasons, I just don’t know when I will get to it.
Verdict: KEEP
The Dead of Night by John Marsden
So this is the second book in the Tomorrow When the War Began series! I absolutely love the first book and really want to continue the series, just haven’t got to it yet!

The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
So I just read the synopsis and this book sounds so interesting! It sounds like a book that has a awesome female main character discovering herself! A dystopian type world and magic! And also as far as I can see in the synopsis there isn’t romance which if that is the case in the book that would be awesome as I feel like most books have a main romance that is a major part and I would like to read something that chills on the romance, especially a Fantasy that does that!
Verdict: KEEP
Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare
So this book shouldn’t be read before reading both The Mortal Instruments series & The Infernal Devices series. I have only read 2 books of the TMI series, so I am a fair way away from getting to this book as I don’t really know if I want to finish that series yet!
Verdict: DELETE
The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski
This book sounds interesting but I also don’t really know what’s meant to happen. The synopsis doesn’t really tell much, so I don’t really know about this book actually. I hear it mentioned occasionally on BookTube but I also feel like I haven’t really seen it as anyones absolute favourite! I think this is a book I can let go of.
Verdict: DELETE
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
So I’m not actually going to read the synopsis as I want to go in knowing very little. But I want to finish the Grisha trilogy first even though people have said you can read Six of Crows with out having read Grisha. But that’s the way I want to do it! I really enjoyed the first book of the Grisha trilogy, Shadow and Bone so I do want to continue the series and then jump into the Six of Crows duology!
Verdict: KEEP
Passenger by Alexandra Bracken
So this book does sound interesting but I also know that there is many people that either love or hate this book and it’s one of those books that I want to try for myself to find out which side I’m on!

Reign of Shadows by Sophie Jordan
So this book is a YA Romance with a kind of fantasy vibe. But mainly just romance it seems. And this also has a slight Rapunzel retelling hint to it as well. I honestly don’t think I will read this though, if the focus was on fantasy and a bit of romance with that then yeah sure! But a book focused on romance is just not my thing!
Verdict: DELETE
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
Okay so if you have been living under a rock, Rainbow Rowell has a book called fangirl which is ultimately about someone that writes fanfiction for this fantasy series that is in that world. So then she wrote the book that the fanfiction was based on.
I haven’t read Fangirl and probably won’t but I feel like this can be read without reading Fangirl. So if you have read these then let me know if this can be read without having read fangirl. I’m pretty sure it could, but I’m curious!
Verdict: KEEP
Well I deleted 4 out of 10 and I’m pretty happy with that! And that is all for this week!
Dusk Angel Reads 
I really liked Passenger and I loved Six of Crows! The Winner’s Curse is still on my tbr but mainly because I already own the book…

That’s awesome! And I know that feeling. There is books I own that I don’t know if I will read but they stay on my TBR because I own them.

I loved The Winner’s Curse series. I hated Kestrel until the end…it’s about a rich girl in a society with slaves…she buys a slave who is secretly planning a rebellion and she falls for him, but her allegiance is to her people. I really liked it. If I had to choose between that and Passenger, I would choose that one. I did NOT like Passenger that much.
But your TBR! I think you were the one that inspired me to do my own!

Sounds interesting I might get to it eventually but a lot more higher priority for me! I’m just curious to know if I’ll love of hate passenger, it’s not majority high priority though haha.
