I got a tonne of books read in June thanks to GraphicsAThon! I read 14 Graphic Novels, 2 Paperbacks & 2 Audiobooks.
Let’s jump in!
Paperbacks
The Island by C.L. Taylor The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas
I’ve really been in a mystery mood so both of these were perfect for that. I rated both of these 4 stars.
Audiobooks
I Killed Zoe Spanos by Kit Frick The Last Magician by Lisa Maxwell
I Killed Zoe Spanos is an interesting Mystery Thriller! I rated this on 4.5 stars & I would highly recommend the audiobook as this one features a podcast which is very well done on audiobook!
The Last Magician was a reread as I wanted to continue onto book 2. While I did read The Last Magician I ended up DNFing book 2 as I was just bored & found the book very repetitive.
Graphic Novels
Zenobia The Avant-Guards: Volume Two The Avant-Guards: Down to the Wire Alice: From Dream to Dream Eat, and Love Yourself Grass Goldie Vance: Larceny in La La Land I moved to Los Angeles to work in animantion The Blue Road Juliet Takes a Breath Check Please: Year One Check Please: Year Two Check Please: Year Three Check Please: Year Four
I have already reviewed 4 of these & you can find that HERE! I’ll be posting more mash up reviews so keep an eye out for those if you are curious about my ratings.
Currently Reading
Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir The Box in the Woods by Maureen Johnson

What was the best book you read in June?
Mine would have to be I Killed Zoe Spanos!
I have had the audiobook for I Killed Zoe Spano for awhile! I feel like I knew there was a podcast but I forgot. I am definitely in the mood for something like that!

It’s so worth it! I was a little confused at the start until I realised the two time lines were current & future. I legit thought they were like alternate time lines at first. I was so damn confused. 😂😂😂

Both are good! I think I prefer The Island a little more. It had such a creepy vibe!
I’m going to try & review both of them soon too!
And I did! Thank goodness they are short. 😂😂 It’s all I read for a straight week.
