I was hoping to read a lot more during Graphics-A-Thon but I just didn’t have the time with work. So I thought I would talk about the Graphic Novels/Manga’s that are still on my TBR!
1. Wicked Things by John Allison & Max Sarin

This is a YA detective Graphic Novel which sounds super fun! There is only this single volume so will be a quick & easy read hopefully.
2. Slam! by Pamela Ribon & Veronica Fish
I feel like I read more sports based Graphic Novels than I ever would sports related books! This is one of them. Slam! is based around Roller Derby and has just the two volumes so another quick & fun read by the sounds of it.
3. Brave Chef Brianna by Sam Sykes & Selina Espiritu

Another single volume graphic novel! This one I honestly know nothing about but I’m guessing it involves cooking and the cover just looks so interesting.
4. Hex Vet by Sam Davies
A two volume graphic novel series about a vet that specialised in magical creatures? I’m in!
5. By Night by John Allison & Christine Larson
This one is a 3 volume fantasy graphic novel that sounds super interesting!
6. B.B. Free by Gabby Rivera, Kieran Quigley & Royal Dunlap
Volume 1 of B.B. Free is currently out but Volume 2 doesn’t release until next year! So I will probably hold off and read this one closer to the release of Volume 2 so I can read them both together! Either way I am super interested in this one and it sounds like it has amazing diversity!
7. Bee and PuppyCat by Natasha Allegri
I have no idea what this is about but it looks hilarious and it’s fantasy, so I’m in.
8. Something is Killing the Children by James Tynion IV, Werther Dell’Edera & Miguel Muetro
I want to get more into horror graphic novels & try and convince my partner to read them with. me seen as he likes horror but doesn’t love reading. I feel like a horror graphic novel is the perfect middle ground!
9. Ghosted in L.A. by Sina Grace, Siobhan Keenan & Cathy Le
This is another one I will probably wait to read as Volume 3 comes out in December. So I will wait till then and then read all 3.
10. Basically everything Junji Ito
I’ve read one bind of Junji Ito stories so far and that was Frankenstein and it was very interesting. So I’m keen to read more by this author. I have featured Gyo, Uzumaki & Tomie as they are the ones I most hear talked about but there is others by the author that interests me as well.
11. Check, Please! by Ngozi Ukazu
This one is talked about so much and I’m so curious to get to it! It sounds cute and so much fun so I’m keen!
12. Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken, Leigh Dragoon & Kit Seaton

Brightly Woven is based on Alexandra Bracken’s debut novel, which I personally haven’t read but I love Alexandra Bracken’s The Darkest Minds series so I’m keen to get to this one!

Are there any other Graphical Novels that I should have on my radar?

I personally thought ‘Uzumaki’ was really over-rated. It had some cool artwork but I thought it was more unintentionally funny than scary, I don’t think I’ll be reading any more of Junji Ito’s books. 😛
