This was exactly the creepy book I was looking for. Considering this was her first horror book I am definitely impressed & also now really curious to pick up one of her mysteries! Highly recommend if you are after a gripping horror book with plenty of twists & turns but also an interesting background to the world.

As always, with non-fiction works I will not be rating this one. As I've explained in the past it feels wrong to rate a non-fiction book when this is someones actually story! So instead this review will focus on the writing, my experience reading it & the illustrations.

This was the most unsatisfying ending I have ever read! I enjoyed the book up until the the 2nd or 3rd last chapter. It went from a 3.5/4 starts to a 2.5 stars within a couple sentences. If you have read this book you will know exactly what I'm talking about... I will do a little spoilery section at the bottom of this post so I can rant about it!
