Tag Sunday – Anything But Books Tag

I’m back for another tag sunday! I have seen this tag done by 3 of the people I follow today so I chose to do it too haha.

I have been considering changing my header image and starting to use graphics for headings on my page! So I’m going to try that out in this post for the questions, just to see if I like it! Please let me know what you think!

Well I don’t really watch cartoons anymore but I don’t watch much Tv at all anymore except Big Bang Theory occasionally. I mainly watch YouTube on my Tv. But I liked the old school cartoons like Tom & Jerry, Road Runner, Bugs Bunny, etc.

I don’t really have a favourite song atm. I have been listening to the same songs for ages as I don’t look at new music or buy it. So there isn’t really a specific song I go to, I just press the shuffle button on my phone and let whatever play.

Watching YouTube! Mainly BookTube and the Beauty community, I love watching beauty videos as I’m a Beauty Therapist and love getting tips and see what’s trending. I also love watching BookTube, except that sometimes you can get mini spoilers for books. I love going into books knowing absolutely nothing, so sometimes it can suck when it comes to that, at least blogging you can just skip over the bits you don’t want to read.

Well this isn’t something I do anymore as I did it in school but couldn’t continue it after. But I absolutely loved Agricultural Studies at school and in Year 10 when were lucky enough to help a local Droughtmaster stud owner parade his cattle in shows around the area. I love working with animals and had learnt to lead and work with cattle in year 8 and 9, so it was awesome to put that knowledge into action in Year 10. I participated in 6 shows, I think and it was awesome and so much fun! Myself and 2 mates also got to lead for a different stud that had Santa Gertrudis cattle at two shows which was also fun to have a go on cattle that we had no experience with and didn’t know their habits, the pic in the bottom right. The bus all got bogged at one show as it pissed down rain the night we were there and it was still wet when we had to leave. We also had to participate in Junior judging while we were there which wasn’t too bad. It was great fun and I wish I could have kept doing it but our school principal thought that we wouldn’t be able to do it in senior as well as getting good marks. But I can guarantee I would have been able to, so it was shit that we couldn’t!

I don’t know if there is anything unusual that I know how to do. I guess cattle parading would be something unusual to many of my followers.

Well I made this blog in the last year, so that was definitely fun! In the last year I also started and graduated my Diploma of Beauty Therapy which was amazing!

Well I haven’t started it yet, but I have done this before and stopped and that is journalling. Last year I gave it a go, but I was doing it in an art journal and I was doing it with print outs which just didn’t always fit what I wanted. I have finally decided to actually give a bullet journalling a go. So I have ordered one online and I’m just waiting for it to get here. I don’t know how long it will take as I have never purchased anything wordery.com before.

There isn’t really anything I think about often, I don’t think. Besides just life in general. One thing I do think about occasionally is starting a BookTube channel. Originally that is what I wanted to do and I tried filming a couple videos and just wasn’t happy with the results. At the time I tried on my iPhone and I have since purchased a Canon 750D camera as I love photography and I wanted a proper camera. Anyway, that is how I started my blog, BookTube just wasn’t working out so I tried blogging instead and have loved it ever since!

Well I’m going to say a couple different favourites as that is just  such a broad question.

Favourite fruit: Watermelon or Mango (when it’s in season!)

Favourite BookTubers to watch: Little Book Owl (where I discovered BookTube), Jessethereader, Hailey in Bookland, AbigailHaleigh (new discovery) & Peruse Project

Favourite Food to cook: Mac n Cheese Lasagna. This sounds really odd but I discovered this on facebook and kinda made it my own. This is meant to be made with leftover bolognese mince. But as I don’t eat bolognese what I do it just cook up mince and add a bit of water and add some Maggie gravy powder and a bit of BBQ sauce (I don’t like tomatoes or tomato sauce, so that’s why I chose BBQ sauce). Then I make homemade white sauce and add some parmesan cheese and some tasty cheese and sometimes some mozzarella. And then I add cooked mac n cheese to that. Then you just layer it like lasagne and top with cheese and bake in the oven to brown cheese. It is sooo good and I always make a baking dish full of it and have leftovers for a couple days which is amazing!
