Top Ten Tuesday is a monthly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and you can find all the info and upcoming prompts here.

This week’s prompt is Top Ten ALL TIME Favourite Books of X Genre and I am choosing the Fantasy genre as this is my most read genre and I have read enough books to actually have a top 10! Also, some of these will be series instead of just a single book.
These are no in order except 1 is my top!

1. Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

I absolutely adore this series and it is my top series of all time! Within this series, my favourite book is Order of the Phoenix, which is funny because it’s my least favourite of the movies. They just missed so much!! D:

2. Vampire Academy and Bloodlines series by Richelle Mead

I consider these two series’s one series. I enjoyed them equally and they are defiantly one of my favourite series! I loved the world building in these series and it had a lot of world building in 12 books! I really enjoyed the characters and how the story progressed and never got boring or repetitive over the 12 books.

3.  The Trylle Trilogy by Amanda Hocking

This series was amazing, I did read it a long time ago and I really need to reread it and get a refresher of it!
I also really enjoyed its companion series

4. The Kanin Chronicles by Amanda Hocking

This was also an awesome series and it held my attention just as fully as the Trylle Trilogy did. I loved exploring one of the other Tribes of Trylle in this series and we also saw a bit more of the other tribes which was awesome!

5. Miss Peregrine’s home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

I’ve only read the first book in this series so that why it is the only one mentioned, but I’m sure that the rest of the series will make it here too. This book is so interesting and nothing like I have ever read before!

6. The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

I really enjoyed The Raven Boys and just like Miss Pregrine’s I have only read the first book and hopefully when I do get to the rest of Thr Raven Cycle that it will join The Raven Boys on my top 10

My Review can be found here.

7. The Watersong Series by Amanda Hocking

Can you tell I like Amanda Hocking!? I really enjoyed this series and I had never read anything about a siren or really even knew what one was until this series so it was an interesting as well as fun and exciting read!

8. Rebel of the Sands by Alwyn Hamilton

This book was defiantly a page turner and I can’t wait for Traitor to the Throne which is the second book in this series. It left me wanting more and I loved this book and how it was different to most of the fantasy I have read.

My Review can be found here.

9. The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien

I feel ashamed of myself that I have only read the first book in the Lord of the Rings series but they are such beautiful and full books that they take me alot longer to read than most other books the same size. I hopefully will finish the series and The Hobbit by the end of the year!

10. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

I have only just finished reading this book in the last couple days and I am now reading City of Ashes and this series is quickly becoming part of my favourite books! I really enjoyed City of Bones and I’m so keen to finish the rest of the series!

      1. I defiantly will! It’s just getting to them and I also don’t currently own them. I have a few series at the moment that I have to finish. Hopefully I will get to them by the end of the year.
