Top 5 Wednesday – Books You Want To See As TV Shows

This week’s prompt is: books you want to see as TV shows!
This is an awesome question as I personally would much rather a book be turned into a TV show than a movie. As long as it is done well. With a TV show because there is a lot more time it is possible to show everything and not have to change or cut out parts on the book!

Well, that’s what I wish anyway!

1. Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

Firstly I wish they made the Harry Potter series into a TV show! It would be awesome if, like I said above, they didn’t cut anything and we could see the entire book on the screen! This one better have Peeves or I would throw my TV out the window!

2. Vampire Academy and Bloodlines by Richelle Mead

There is a movie adaption of the first book Vampire Academy in the Vampire Academy series but they decided not to make the rest. Which pissed me off because the movie was actually pretty good! This would be awesome as a TV show as there are tonnes of places in the books that would allow for cliffhangers and such for Tv episodes!

3. Rebel of the Sands series by Alwyn Hamilton

I know there is only 1 book out so far but it was really good! and I hope Traitor to the Throne and the untitled 3rd book will be just as good! This would be another awesome book to turn into a tv show! There is lots of action and heaps of options for cliffhangers!

4. The Trylle Trilogy and The Kanin Chronicles by Amanda Hocking

This is another action-packed fantasy series that would be great as a TV show! I feel like I’m just saying the same thing over and over again, but this is an awesome book series and would be great as a TV show watching it all come to life.

5. Anna and the French Kiss series by Stephanie Perkins

I have only read the first book in this series but really enjoyed it. I also chose this one as all the other series I chose were fantasy and I think this book would make an awesome Romantic contemporary that would interest a lot of people.
