Anyone But Him is a Spicy Enemies-to-lovers anthology featuring 4 short stories that I would have read full length novels of every one without hesitation.

Love you Like you Mean It by Elouise Tynan
Firstly, I loved Jordana in this one. She was a badass who had the best one liners and comebacks. I cracked up multiple times reading this one. Then there was Reed who is Jordana’s brothers Best Friend who she’s known for years and kinda hates.
The Spice was on point, the banter was on point and the characters were on point. This is also the one that felt the most well rounded. Like I would definitely read a longer version if it was available but as a novella it did round out nicely and left me satisfied.
Fight or Flight by Stephanie Hazeltine
Now who doesn’t love a fake dating trope with some enemies-to-lovers sprinkled in?? This one was angsty and the ‘enemies’ side was a bit heavier than the others which I loved. I loved also getting a bit of a prologue to show why the characters hated each other and not just being told they do, that was a nice touch. Blair and Levi were both awesome characters and I honestly flew through this one.
The Law of Attraction by Alison Middleton
This is the one that stuck with me the least but I did still enjoy it. I did enjoy the spice in this one. The characters were enjoyable and I thought Sage was a great, strong female main character. I did also enjoy seeing a past and present side for this one which let us learn a bit more about them as well. The other three stories were definitely stronger in my opinion but this one was a quick easy read.
Finding Home by Emma Mugglestone
Lastly we have another one with some banter that I really enjoyed. Andi & Jack were a fun duo and I enjoyed watching them fuck with each other as they tiptoed around not liking each other. The miscommunication frustrated me while reading but I think it’s meant to. It’s one of those situations where you know both sides but they don’t know each others which leads to one being grumpy and one being mad about shit that’s not even accurate… This is probably the one I would have liked a full length story of the most especially as it was a bit insta lovey feeling as, unlike the other 3 stories, Andi & Jack didn’t know each other prior to the beginning of the story. For that reason I would have liked a bit more development there and I think this one would have benefited from being longer.

Overall I had a great time reading this one! These 4 authors have another anthology that’s Christmas themed. Which I wish I would have known about around Christmas time to read it when the theme was more fitting. But you can’t have everything and considering how much I enjoyed Anyone But Him, I don’t have an issue read All I Want for Chris-Mas outside of the season!
