It’s time to wrap up the last month of 2021! I read a total of 8 books this month and like the past couple months I will be sharing some stats! So let’s jump in an do that first then talk about the books I read!
Stats!

Firstly starting with Format! I read 5 audiobooks & 3 Hardcovers. For all 3 Hardcovers there were times where I read a little bit of them as eBooks but I read majority of the book in hardcover.

Don’t think I need to explain this one too much but in 2022 I do plan on concentrating a little more on reading adult books as well! So hopefully next month you will see a difference.

Genres were a little basic this month with not too much variety but that’s totally fine!

Next we have Publication Year! 4 of which were 2021 releases and then 1 of each from the other years. I did reread the first two Harry Potter books which is why there are some older publication years in the mix this month!

Lastly we have Star Rating. Both the 5 star reads were my rereads of Harry Potter but I also read a decent amount of 4.5 star reads and there were nothing under 3.5 so I’m happy with that!
Wrap Up

Firstly for December I read books 2, 3 or 0.5 of the A Good Girls Guide to Murder series! Good Girl, Bad Blood was definitely the best of the 3. Kill Joy was a little underwhelming compared to the rest of the series and As Good As Dead was probably my least favourite of the main series. Book 1, A Good Girls Guide to Murder was my favourite of the whole series! It’s so damn good!
Black Wings Beating was my least favourite book of the month. It still wasn’t bad but someone has to take the bottom spot. I rated it 3.5 stars & I intend to finish off book 2 this month hopefully. So far book 2 is a little slow, so hopefully it will pick up.

Next we have Namesake which is book 2 of of the Fable series and it was amazing! I am so keen to read book 3 in January!
Once Upon a Broken Heart was a bit of a whim for me really as I didn’t plan on reading it until it came in a Fairyloot. The book is gorgeous so I thought why not give the audiobook a go and then if I like it I will have a gorgeous book on my shelf & if I don’t then I can sell it to someone who will love it. I ended up really enjoying it so that was a bonus! I rated it 4 stars and will definitely be keeping it.
Lastly I read the Mina Lima editions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone & Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. I always love rereading Harry Potter, especially around Christmas time so I thought it would be the perfect time to reread with the new Mina Lima editions!
Well that is all the books I read in December! Let me know which book you read in December was your favourite! Besides the Harry Potter rereads my favourite was Namesake!
