Goodreads Synopsis:
The third installment in the all-new series from the #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater!
Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs.
The trick with found things, though, is how easily they can be lost.
Friends can betray.
Mothers can disappear.
Visions can mislead.
Certainties can unravel.
I only really do mini reviews for 2nd, 3rd, etc books in a series unless there is inconsistencies from the books before that one. So this will only be short!
I love this series! And it sucks that I am away right now and didn’t bring The Raven King with me because I really want to start it as soon as I finish this review, but I will have to wait till probably Sunday night now! 😩
Also, just a little personal update! I am nearly finished my Diploma in Beauty Therapy!! I have handed everything in and am just waiting to get 2 things marked and another uploaded by my trainers and I will be done! SOOOOOO I can finally get back to reading more as the course has been taking up a lot of my time in the last month or two!
Writing:
The writing was just as good in the last book! I love Maggie’s writing!
Plot:
I really enjoyed the plot in this book! Sometimes by the 3rd books in series’s I feel like it’s kinda dragging on still, but I didn’t get that feel with this book! I t was full of new and exciting things in The Raven Cycle world. There was also some upsetting/shocking moments and some amazing ones too!
Characters:
We only meet a couple new characters in this book, some astonishingly tall and others bat shit crazy and another that you kinda want to punch in the throat at the end of it. But you know, all books have at least one of those characters and unfortunately the real world has a million too many.
Overall:
This series is easily becoming a new favourite, up there with the likes of Snow Like Ashes & Miss Peregrine’s! I’m keen to get to the next book, but at the same time I don’t want it to end!
Let me know what you guys thought of Blue Lily, Lily Blue or the first two book aswell! Please no spoilers in the comments, but if you want to talk spoilery then feel free to message me on insta @duskangelreads222
This is my favorite of the quartet!, I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂

That’s awesome! I think I love The Raven Boys most, I think it’s because that’s where is all started. But I’m still yet to read The Raven King, so who knows, might change

I love this series so much! I read them all in a few days so my mind isn’t clear exactly on what happened in each book, but it’s one of my favorite series and I really want to reread it soon 🙂

That’s how I feel about Vampire Academy and bloodlines series. That’s one of my favourite series and I barely remember what happened! 😩 but those series are 6 books long each and are way too much to reread. It sucks!
And I’m glad you love this series! I’m so keen to get to The Raven King. 😁😁
