Top Ten Tuesday is a monthly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and you can find all the info and upcoming prompts Here.
This week’s prompts is: Ten Books I Loved Less/More Than I Thought I Would (recently or all time) — or you could do something like books I liked more/less than everyone else.
So for this I’m going to chose 5 I liked more and 5 I liked less than I thought I would.
Books I Liked Less Than I Thought I Would
1. The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare (Books 1 & 2)
2. Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin (Couldn’t even finish book 1)
4. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by Jack Thorne, John Tiffany & J.K. Rowling
Books I Liked More Than I Thought I Would
1. The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson
2. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
3. You Know Me Well by Nina LaCour & David Levithan
4. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
5. The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
And that is all for today! What was the book that you read the latest that you didn’t enjoy as much as you thought you would??
I couldn’t finish A Game of Thrones either, so dull and long-winded!!!

Tell me about it! That and I couldn’t keep track of the characters half the time as there is so many and it keeps swapping perspectives, which makes it even worse to keep up with who is who.

I had a hard time getting through the first couple Mortal Instrument books. However, the last two and then the Infernal Devices I thought were awesome. *Especially Infernal Devices* I thought Clare’s writing really improved.

I’ve only read the first two. I might get to the rest eventually but I don’t think it will happen for a while.
And do you think you have to read TMI to understand Infernal Devices?? I’ve been wondering that for a while.
