This is a challenge that aims at you getting rid of books that have been sitting in your TBR pile! This challenge was created by Austine @ Novel Knight. Go check out her announcement post to check out the guidelines and to sign up.

The challenge runs from the 1st of January till the 31st of December 2017. The aim is to get rid of books on your TBR pile. The only other guideline is the books can’t have been released in 2017.

Along with this challenge, she is also running a Hogwarts House Cup Mini Challenge! Again check out her post on details for that and for sign up for that is under the sign up for the Beat the Backlist challenge.

For the challenge I am setting myself a goal of 20 books.

This will probably change between now and 2017, but these are just some of the books I either have physical copies or iBooks of.

It’s possible that I may read a couple of these before the end of the year though. I have stopped buying books as I quit my job and am not currently working and also my bookcase is FULL and I can’t afford one ATM, let alone how much it would cost to either drive and pick one up or get it shipped to here.

I am also choosing to help out my Hogwarts House to win the House Cup! I’m a proud Gryffindor!

‘Win the House Cup’ banner and image above on right are both made by Novel Knight and the image above on left is a screencapture of my Pottermore profile!

Are you participating in this awesome reading challenge in 2017?! Let me know!

  1. This is such a cool idea… The books I chose will definitely change between now and then but it will be cool to see how my reading changes in a years time.
