Reader Confessions Book Tag

So I have seen this tag a couple times now and I have decided to do it as I haven’t done a tag in a while.

Questions:

Have you ever damaged a book?

Not on purpose, but I have by accident and it killed me inside!

Have you ever damaged a borrowed book?

I have never borrowed a book from anyone as none of my friends are interested in reading… I also have only ever borrowed 1 book from a library and being a library book they aren’t exactly the best quality anyway…

How long does it take you to read a book?

It depends on what the book is. I can read a book in a day or 2 if I’m really enjoying it and it’s not huge… Whereas something like a LOTR book took about a week… It also depends on how much I’m liking the book!

Books that you haven’t finished?

There is only actually 1 book that I started but didn’t finish and that is Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. I just couldn’t get into it and I couldn’t keep track of the characters half the time.

Hyped popular books that you don’t like?

Well, I don’t know if this really fits as there has been very mixed reviews about this book! But there has been a tonne of hype for this book!
I’m talking about Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I really didn’t like it and if you want to know my thoughts I have a full review that can be found here.

If there a book you wouldn’t tell anyone you were reading?

No there isn’t…

How many books do you own?

I own 84 physical books, 72 iBooks and  11 audiobooks

Are you a fast reader or a slow reader?

It again depends on if I am enjoying the book or not!

Do you like to buddy read?

I have never participated in a buddy read, so I have no idea.

Do you read better in your head or out loud?

I don’t like reading out loud, so I always read in my head!

If you were only allowed to own one book, what one and why?

How dare you! This is really going to kill me! I am going to choose Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. I would actually choose the whole series if I could, but since I can only choose 1, I am simply choosing the first in the series! I am picking Harry Potter as the copies I own are the original UK Bloomsbury children’s editions which you can’t purchase anymore and it’s my favourite series!
