I was tagged by Nikki from thenightisdarkandfullofbooks to do this tag and it was originally created by Ayunda from teaandpaperbacks.

I know I have been posting a lot of what book tags lately, but I enjoy doing them! I will be back to writing reviews soon, I’m about half way through Anna and the French Kiss, so I will have a review up for it as soon as I finish it.

The Rules:

  • Mention the creator of the tag
  • Thank the blogger who tagged you!
  • Answer the questions
  • Tag other people to do this tag

So here’s the questions!

Reading on the couch or on the bed?

Well, I do a lot of both! I find that when I read in bed unless the book is really intriguing me and is a real page-turner, then I fall asleep after a couple of pages. So for that reason, if the book is a bit slower then I would choose lounge as I’m less likely to fall asleep, but if its a book I’m really enjoying then bed!

Male main character or female main character?

I do love a good female main, but I feel like nearly every book I have read lately has a female as the main character. So,  I do enjoy a female main character but I’m going to choose Male as it’s so uncommon in YA and I want to read more books with male mains.

Sweet snacks or Salty snacks while reading?

Honestly, I hate eating snacks while reading because if you get food on your fingers and then touch the book then the book as food on it and I hate it! But when I do, I usually go for salty snacks, like chips or shapes (until Arnott’s ruined them!!!!!)

Trilogies or Quartets?

Well, I don’t mind either as long as I’m enjoying the story. I have no issue whatsoever reading a 6 book series or more. So I don’t really have an answer for this.

First person point of view or third person point of view?

I think both have their ups and downs. I like first person as you find out a lot more about the person and what they are thinking and how they work. I am yet to find someone who has similar things as I do running through my head, or maybe they do and we just see them from a third person point of view. Anyway, I also like third person as you see more thing than just what the one character does. I also like when they swap from a different character’s point of view from chapter to chapter if it’s done well! I really don’t know which one to choose as to e certain stories work with first person and some with third and I like the mixture.

Reading at night or in the morning?

Night! I barely rarely read in the mornings, mainly because I sleep in unless I have to work. I also like to get shit done in the mornings and then when I’m finished doing what I need to then I read.

Libraries or bookstores?

Bookstores, kinda! I live in a rural town in Australia and the only library in my town is rather small and doesn’t have that much to offer. I also live about 3 hours away from the nearest decent bookstore, so I don’t go there very often unless we are in town for some other reason. The bookstore is also a lot dearer than buying on Book Depository of Booktopia is, so I nearly always buy books from online. I do like going into bookstores, though!

Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?

Books that make me laugh! I am not the type of person to cry, the only book or movie to ever make me cry has been Harry Potter and that’s because it’s Harry Potter and the feels are real! I also love humour, I love laughing and reading about people having a good time.

Black cover books or white cover books?

I would rather coloured books! But, if I had to choose I would go for black books. I have alot more black than white books, I also like the look of them on my shelf. Maybe I’m just a dark person!

Character driven or plot driven storied?

I do love an awesome plot, but I’m going to choose character driven as I love getting to know a person and being able to relate to them and getting attatched to them!
