The YA Chronicles – An Overview of the last year!

Screen Shot 2017-04-13 at 10.58.24 pm

So I have been getting The YA Chronicles since February last year, I did miss 2 throughout that time though. I will still show and talk about those months boxes even though I didn’t get them. I also thought I would point out that they have put their post up from $29.99 to $39.99 as of 1st April due to shipping cost increase but they also claim to be adding more items to the boxes from now on, so we will see. So for Australians it will now be a total cost of $49.98 with shipping. If the new products are added and continue the same quality then I will continue subscribing, but if not then I may unsubscribe.

What we got in each box since last Feb and my opinion of each one

As I only started doing unboxing since September so I will be using photos that are taken off The Ya Chronicles website which I believe they got from other people’s Instagrams. I will credit the photographer under the photo and link to their Instagram if it is still active.

If I find links to any of the items I will link them!

February 2016 – Volume 6: Rebel with a Cause

I’m a fantasy reader, so this box was  really interesting to me. Rebel of the Sands turned out to be one of my newer favourite series as well, so that is great! And HERE is my review for it. The Dauntless lip balm & Hunger Games poster were really fun items as I’m a Divergent & Hunger Games fan! I don’t drink tea, so I gave that one to my Mum, but that’s personal preference. And lastly the Throne of Glass stickers, this is a well known series and would be a good item for many people! I still haven’t read this series, so I didn’t know who those characters specifically were, but I thought they were cute and had them on my iPad for a while.

March 2016 – Volume 7: Australia Made (Missed)

I missed this one which didn’t bother me too much because it is a contemporary and I’m not a huge contemporary reader. As for the other items, the tote bag would have been cool but I don’t really use them that often. I would have liked the wooden bookmark though as I think they are really unique but I still don’t own one.

April 2016 – Volume 8: Journal Junkie

Okay, so this book was one that I didn’t personally enjoy when I read it. HERE is my review. But everything else in the box was really good. I still occasionally use those stickers in my diary, when I decide to remember it, as I have a few left still. I also still use that notebook for my shopping lists when I use a written list. I have lost the tape now, but the it was really cool.

May 2016 – Volume 9: Summer Daze, Drifting Away

This was another book I enjoyed reading, it was one of the first contemporaries I really enjoyed and I would more than likely not have picked it up if I hadn’t received it in this box. You can find my review HERE. I loved the fairy bread candle. I still haven’t burnt it though because it’s too pretty. There was two options of magnetic bookmarks to receive and I got the sun one and I honestly have no idea where it went, as I never used to have any way to display or store them so it probably just went in my room somewhere, but it’s really cute! Lastly the bath bomb came pretty smashed up as Australia Post aren’t exactly the most carefully with packages, but oh well. It is still sitting in a The YA Chronicles box in my front room as I don’t have a bath to use it in and neither does any of my friends! Still a cool item for those who could use it haha.

June 2016 – Volume 10: Pride Week

Loved loved loved this box! This book was really good and another enjoyable contemporary. HERE is my review! I still wear the wristband, I have it on right now. I have that rainbow poster up on my wall in my room. I also still have the Shadowhunters necklace with all my other jewelry and I did wear it for a while. I really should put it on display with the first 3 The Mortal Instrument books that I own. And the tote bag, as I said before I don’t really use bags that much, so it is up in my cupboard.

July 2016 – Volume 11: Ladies Who Slay (Missed)

It really sucks that I missed this box! The book is something I’m still interested in reading I just don’t have a copy on. The thing I wish I got the most was the  Hermione’s wand necklace!! Tris’s bird temporary tattoo would have been cool too. I haven’t read The Crowns Game so it didn’t bother me that I didn’t get the bookmark and I don’t watch Sailor Moon, so that didn’t annoy me either. But hermione’s wand!!!

August 2016 – Volume 12: Professional Book Lovers

I still haven’t read this book, but I do really want to! It sounds so interesting! I haven’t actually used that light as where I read it doesn’t need extra light. The scarf is absolutely awesome and such a cool idea! The soap smelt really good, I haven’t used it as a lot of soaps effect my skin, so I didn’t want to risk it and also it’s just prettier to look at than use haha.

September 2016 – Volume 13: You Win or You Die

FullSizeRender 11

My Unboxing

Photo’s from now on are all mine!

This was probably my least favourite box for the items. The candles were kinda boring and they didn’t smell that great to my preference. The characters that the candles were themed with weren’t one I really knew at the time. I have now read Snow Like Ashes, so I know who Meira is now, but I haven’t read Throne of Glass, The Lunar Chronicles or The Wrath and the Dawn so I don’t know who those are. The prints were okay, I hated GoT, so that one was meh to me, the Harry Potter one was really nice though! And the ring was just small cheap and I probably would have snapped it if I had tried to make it big enough to fit my fingers, so it wasn’t a great month for the bookish items in my opinion. The book is one I haven’t read yet but I really want to get to soon!

Gemina Box

My Unboxing

This wasn’t one of the monthly boxes, this was an extra thing. Just like the A Court of Wing & Ruin box they had for sale a little while ago and the Pride Box they have for sale now. I loved Illuminae so I had to get this box! Gemina was so damn good! HERE is my spoiler free review. And a signed copy! I really liked the print of the Heimdall and the Illuminae bookmark!

October 2016 – Volume 14: Against All Odds

My Unboxing

This was another eh box for me. I’m not going to go into detail about everything, but I don’t really read contemporary, I haven’t read Percy Jackson or Six of Crows and I don’t know who Manon is. For people who have read the corresponding books it would be a good box though, I just haven’t got to them yet.

November 2016 – Volume 15: Welcome to Wonderland

FullSizeRender 21

My Unboxing

I read Heartless just after getting this box and didn’t enjoy it too much. You can find my spoiler free review HERE. Again I don’t drink tea myself, but I gifted the tea and infuser spoon to a friend. The bookmarks from Read and Wonder are really cute though!

December 2016 – Volume 16: Simply Wonderful

My Unboxing

I don’t know if I will read this book or not, it is really interesting, but I just haven’t had the urge to pick it up, I should though, its so short it would only take a couple hours. I have the magnet on the side of my aircon in my room and love the quote on it! The post its a really cute and I keep forgetting to use them though! They are on my bedside table but just forget while reading! I covered the edge of one of my shelves with the washi tape and I think it’s really cute except that the wood is a little wider than the tape. I like that they added a description of why they chose that book as well!

January 2017 – Volume 17: Did Someone Say Fantasy?

FullSizeRender 67

My Unboxing

The book in this one is another I still haven’t read but plan to soon! I also love the idea of the Penguin Teen Australia Super-Proof 2017 book! That is an awesome idea and a cool thing to get in a subscription box! I already have a One Ring, but who doesn’t need two! The Raven Cycle bookmark is gorgeous and I have since purchased the entire set from them! The prints and illustrations are pretty cool too! I’m guessing the A Darker Shade of Magic one will make more sense when I get to read that book soon!

February 2017 – Volume 18: Can You Feel The Love Tonight?

My Unboxing

I think this is my second least favourite box so far. I don’t drink tea, but I do have it displayed on my bookshelf next to my potion bottle of Amortentia! The Feysand candle kinda smells bad to me, but I hope to be reading ACOMAF soon so that Feysand makes sense to me, because so far in ACOTAR it is feylin still. I have no interest in The Fault In Our Stars pin as I will probably never read that book and disliked the movie. The book does sounds interesting though!

March 2017 – Volume 19: Feels Like A Fairytale

My Unboxing

This one was probably my least favourite box of all. The book does not sound like something I will enjoy, the lip balm is kinda meh, the bath salts honestly smell like peroxide being mixed with bleach powder, if anyone has ever bleached their hair themselves then they will understand that smell. The sticker is really cute, but that was the only thing I really enjoyed in this box. I did like that it came with a signed book plate and also that the page edges of the book are coloured! That’s always fun.

Overall I really enjoy getting these subscription boxes! Sometimes the items aren’t for me and sometimes the books aren’t going to interest me, but that’s one of the joys with subscription boxes! I do wish they created a fantasy and Contemporary option so that you could choose your prefered genre. That would be awesome!

A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses #1) by Sarah J. Maas – Spoiler Free Review

Screen Shot 2017-04-10 at 8.53.15 pm

Title: A Court of Thorns and Roses
Sarah J. Maas
Series Name: A Court of Thorns and Roses
Genre: YA Fantasy Romance
Publication Date: May 5th, 2015
Pages: 416 (paperback)
Publishers: Bloomsbury Children’s
4 and a half Star

Goodreads Synopsis:

Feyre is a huntress.

She thinks nothing of slaughtering a wolf to capture its prey. But, like all mortals, she fears what lingers mercilessly beyond the forest. And she will learn that taking the life of a magical creature comes at a high price…

Imprisoned in an enchanted court in her enemy’s kingdom, Feyre is free to roam but forbidden to escape. Her captor’s body bears the scars of fighting, and his face is always masked – but his piercing stare draws her ever closer. As Feyre’s feeling for Tamlin begin to burn through every warning she’s been told about his kind, an ancient, wicked shadow grows.

Feyre must find a way to break a spell, or lose her heart forever.

Yes, I have finally read this book! I don’t own the second book, so I won’t be continuing the serious straight away as I have put myself on a book buying ban still!! So I will have to wait.

This review will have more rambling than normal! Just Saying!

Cover Art:

So the picture above doesn’t 100% show what the book cover looks like. The cover of the book has two different textures to it. It is matte but there is shiny vines with thorns on it, same vines as the silver ones, but they are just clear shiny stuff over the matte red. So you can only see it when the light hits it. Anyway, I love this book cover, but I do not like the matte textured part of the book as even lightly touching it leaves fingerprints and marks all over it that don’t rub away. If you know how to get rid of this, then please tell me..

So this is the first book by Sarah J. Maas that I have read and I’m in love with her writing. It’s so beautiful and detailed and just sucks you in! I always say this to books that it applies to, but I LOVE maps! This book has 2 at the start! The left side is a map of Prythian including Hybern and the right is I do not know.. It looks like it’s just more of the map on the left, but I don’t remember anyone mentioning what was to the East of Prythian, Feyre always mentions the possibility of fleeing to the south, but don’t know what that part of the map is. At first I thought it might be a zoomed in of a part of the other map, but the coast line isn’t the same as the other map, so I have no idea! If someone can explain this to me, then please let me know in the comments!

I really enjoyed the plot of this book. When starting this book I had absolutely NO knowledge of anything about this book, literally nothing! I feel like because it’s so well known that when people talk about it in BookTube videos and on blogs they never explain anything, which was great because I like going into book knowing as little as possible. So going into this book I knew nothing and at the start I was a little confused as to where this was going, but then pretty quickly it jumped straight into the story and I no longer had to wait, which I loved! I do like it sometimes that authors take a second to get the world going, but sometimes I like it when it jumps straight in! It just depends how I’m feeling at the time. But with this book it works jumping straight into it as we find out what Feyre knows early but then learn the rest as she does. Am I rambling? Yes, Yes I am. Moving on.

The bit below in purple is kinda spoilery, so avoid if you want absolutely no spoilers!

So because this book is soo hyped, I may not have known anything about the plot but it is hard not to know about this Feyre & Rysand thing… So when reading this I was so confused and it kinda made it weird to read this book because in this book Feyre falls for Tamlin, so when Rhysand turned up I was waiting and waiting for something to happen between Tamlin and Feyre that makes her ditch him or that Rhysand will do something amazing to make her chnage her mind. So this was kinda annoying. I’m assuming the Feyre & Rhysand bit comes into play in the next book, but it kinda messed with me all through this book.. That was the only thing that I hated, but that’s not the books fault that is the hypes fault.

Anyway, I did enjoy Feyre a lot, sometimes she annoyed me a little, but that’s just because she was so paranoid sometimes and I was just like ‘woman, chill’. But that is just me haha. I really like Tamlin, at the end you find out something that made me kinda question his actions at the start but it didn’t bother me too much, if you’ve read this then you will know what I’m talking about. I really like Lucien, at first I was a bit iffy about him, but in the end I liked him. Rhysand was another one that I didn’t like at the start but grew to enjoy. Then there is Amarantha, bitch, moving on. There is also a couple other characters that I enjoyed that weren’t major characters but still worth mentioning. These three were also characters that were kinda eh in the start and then towards the end turned out to be awesome! Alis was just kinda there until at the end when she helps Feyre, Elain further in was just so happy when things were shitty and I liked that and then Nesta I kinda wanted to push in a creek at the start and then towards the end shows this strong interesting side. I hope we see more of Elain & Nesta in the next book!

I really enjoyed this book! I have been having so many awesome reads lately! Which makes me soo happy! I loved this world, the plot and most of the characters and I’m keen to get to the next book hopefully soon!

I’m glad I’ve finally read this as it’s just so hyped and I’ve felt left out for ages! There is still heaps of series that I feel like everyone else has read, and I hope to get to them soon! I honestly have no idea what I am going to pick up next. And holy shit I actually read all the books that were on my Aprils TBR and it’s only the 10th! So that is exciting as hell!

Book Travelling Thursday – Book You Want To Read This Spring

Screen Shot 2017-04-06 at 7.40.49 pm

Book Travelling Thursday is a weekly meme created by Danielle and Cátia. All you have to do is a pick a book that is related to the theme, the themes are announced on the Goodreads page. Once you have chosen a book you need to find the original cover, the covers from your country, your favourite cover and your least favourite cover.

This week’s prompt is: Spring is here! Choose a book you want to read this Spring.

Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake

Original Cover:

They are all original covers for this book as when it came out you could get a US edition with one design or the UK edition that there was three different covers, each having a different crown on it from one of the sisters in the story I’m assuming.

However on every website I have tried I can only find the red edition for some reason, so I don’t know where you can get the other as I’m checked Book Depository, Booktopia, QBD, Dymocks, Angus and Robertson Bookworld, BookOutlet, Amazon and Collins Booksellers. Maybe the others were only available for a limited time or something

Cover I Own:

Favourite Covers:

I don’t know which crown belongs to who as I haven’t read it. So the first 3 are all from the same publisher and everything.

Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left: UK Macmillan Children’s Books Editions

Bottom Right: US Harper Teen Edition

Least Favourite Cover:

This is the only other edition of this book on Goodreads. I don’t like the cartoon style of this book cover.

Persian Behdad Edition

Well that is all for now! I don’t know if this is the next book I will read. I’m currently reading A Court of Thorns and Roses and want to read the next book A Court of Mist and Fury when I finish it, but I don’t own it at the moment, and I have put a book buying ban on myself for now. I might leave it and wait until A Court of Wings and Ruin  comes out to read both of them! So I might read Three Dark Crowns next, I will see what I feel like when it comes.

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie – Spoiler Free Review

Screen Shot 2017-04-04 at 7.51.48 pm

Title: Murder on the Orient Express
Agatha Christie
Series Name: Hercule Poirot
Genre: Classic & Mystery
Publication Date: 1934
Pages: 274 (paperback)
Publishers: Harper
5 Star

Goodreads Synopsis:

This title finds the Orient Express stopped in its tracks. The luxurious train set of with a full passenger list but by the morning there was one fewer. An American lay dead in his compartment, stabbed a dozen times, his door locked from the inside. With tension mounting, detective Hercule Poirot comes up with two solutions to the crime.

I really enjoy Agatha Christie books! True I have only read 2 so far, but I have loved both a lot! I really want to read more but I have currently put a ban on myself for buying books, so it will have to wait for a little while.

Cover Art:

There are tonnes of covers for this book as it has been out for over 80 years! I do really like the one I own, however I feel like there should be more snow around considering. But overall I really like this cover!

Agatha Christie’s writing is amazing and I cannot fault it. I really like how mysterious everything is kept right until the end! I do kinda wish that there was a glossary of sorts for translation of some of the words used in the book as even though they were specifically necessary to know the meaning of, I was curious and kept googling things to find out what they meant. That is the only thing I wish this book had, but it’s not necessary.

Well I won’t speak of the plot much as I don’t want to give anything away as the entirety of the plot leads to the end conclusion. However I do want say that I agree with M. Bouc  & Poirot’s decision at the end. I know alot of people didn’t believe this was right to do, but I do, even though it’s not specifically the law abiding way.

I feel like these books aren’t books that you can really form an opinion of the characters, as besides Poirot himself  you only find out pure facts about the characters and can’t really form a personal opinion on that. So I won’t say much about them, however I really enjoy Poirot and I really wish that I could figure things out like he does!

I really enjoyed this book! I love reading mysteries even though I don’t read them as much as I do Fantasy. I really want to read more though! I also think that this book is a good starting book for someone starting into Agatha Christie’s works!

Top Ten Tuesday – Harry Potter Merchandise I Wish I Owned

Screen Shot 2017-04-04 at 3.35.02 pm

Top Ten Tuesday is a monthly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and you can find all the info and upcoming prompts Here.

This week’s prompts is: Fandom Freebie — top ten fandoms I’m in, 10 reasons X fandom is the best, must have merchandise for x fandom, etc. etc.

So I’m going with Harry Potter merchandise that I wished I owned! I have a fair bit of Harry Potter stuff, but there are so many things I wish I had and especially some things that are just so hard to get in Australia because shipping from official Warner Bros and similar sites are a bit crazy! Also most of these will be things that I just would not buy because of price. I wouldn’t spend that much on a single item that I quite simply wouldn’t use.

1. Wands!

I’m pretty sure that this is something all Harry Potter fans want to own! I do have 3 wands at the moment but none of them are the official ones and they aren’t exactly correct. I have Voldemort & Harry’s wands that I received from the GeekGear World of Wizardry Box, they are really good quality but they aren’t the proper ones and they aren’t exact copies, for example the voldemort wand from GeekGear is bright white but his wand should actually be a cream and brown colour. I also have Sirius Blacks wand, I got this from Wish which is a similar site to eBay and AliExpress if you don’t know what it is. This one only cost me under $20 AUD I think and it’s not perfect of course. It is a light up one but the piece where the batteries were was broken so I had to do a little DIY work on that and it’s also not really the right colour either, but I’m going to try and paint it with a better colour!

2. Gringott’s Coin Collection

PRP HP 7234

3. Brooms

4. The Horcruxes

PRP HP 7968

PRP HP 8177

PRP HP 7247

PRP HP 8689

5. Food!

Granted these wouldn’t last long! But I still wish I could get them!

6. Sorcerer’s Stone

PRP HP 7386

7. Gryffindor Hoodie

8. Stationary

9. Gryffindor Banner

10. Harry Potter Funko Collection

I already have a few Funko’s in this collection, but there is so many more I want!

I already have Hermione in Yule Ball outfit, Neville with Trevor, Harry in Triwizard outfit, Ron in Yule Ball outfit, Cedric in Triwizard outfit, Draco in Quidditch robe with broom, Harry with Quidditch robe with nimbus, Dumbledore, Bellatrix in Azkaban outfit, Fred & George, Lucius in Death Eater Mask and Ron in Weasley jumper.

Well that is all for today! This was such an easy and fun post!

Tomorrow When The War Began (Tomorrow #1) by John Marsden – Spoiler Free Review

Screen Shot 2017-04-03 at 12.28.56 am

Title: Tomorrow When The War Began
John Marsden
Series Name: Tomorrow
Genre: YA Dystopian
Publication Date: March 1st, 2011
Pages: 284 (Paperback)
Publishers: Quercus
4 and a half Star

Goodreads Synopsis:

Australia has been invaded and nothing is as it was. Seven teenagers are camping in a remote area of the Bush and when they return home everything has changed: their families are missing and their animals are dead.

So I have actually started this book before. This book was one I was meant to read for English in Highschool, I think it was about Year 10! I’m pretty sure I never actually finished the whole thing. For the assignment we had I really didn’t need to read the whole thing, I read about half I think, that where in the book it started getting unfamiliar, but I have seen the movie, so I still knew what was going on as the movie stays pretty close to accurate for this book!

Cover Art:

Well honestly I have no idea what the bird it for, maybe the innocence that Ellie said they lost on the day they returned from”Hell” I don’t know. But it’s still an alright cover! I actually prefer the Scholastic one, below, it just fits the story better with the jets over the showgrounds scene.

I enjoyed the writing in this book, I liked that it was written from Ellie’s memory rather than it actually happening. It made it interesting as Ellie’s thoughts at the time she was writing it and the thoughts going through her head as the things happened both showed! I really enjoyed that!

I started enjoying the plot the first time I read this and now reading it and finishing it I still really like it. I enjoy reading books related to war, whether it be historical fiction or books like this. So this was right down my alley. There really isn’t an end to this book, this isn’t a book that you can read and not even think about picking up the next book in the series. When finishing this book, you just know there is more and that this isn’t over and you just want to pick up the next one and keep going (but unfortunately I don’t own the other atm or I would read the whole series now)! I also like that this book doesn’t really end on a good note, majority of books end that way and it’s just nice to read one that doesn’t. Like it ends kind of good and then the last chapter it goes to crap again.

I enjoyed all of them except Kevin, I still enjoy him as a character in this book and the part he plays but I honestly think that if I knew him in really life we would argue regularly and it would probably end in a punch in the nose, but oh well. I like Ellie, Corrie & Fi, they are all strong characters in there own way and I love seeing them develop! I also really liked Homer and Lee, I also love seeing them develop, especially Homer! Chris is the only other main one and I still don’t know about him, he hasn’t been there since the start so I still haven’t figured him out except that he is a stoner.

I really enjoyed this book, it was such a quick book and I think I actually finished it in under 24 hours, I just don’t remember exactly what time I started it yesterday to know if that it 100% true or not. I really wish I had the rest of the series as they are such quick and easy reads and I want to know what happens next! I can’t even go watch the movie as they only made the first one and stopped, they made a trailer and that was it, which sucks because I liked that movie!

Well that is all for today! I promise! This is post 4 for today and now I’m going to lay in bed and start Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie and then sleep!

Tag Sunday – The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag

Screen Shot 2017-04-02 at 9.34.02 pm

So, as everyone knows, I’m obsessed with Harry Potter! I have did the Harry Potter Book Tag ages ago, but this is a different tag! The thing I love about this tag is your answers are Harry Potter related not just the questions having some link to Harry Potter.

Possible spoilers btw! So here we go!

I will be adding Quotes & Pics to this tag as who doesn’t love pics and Harry Potter quotes!

1. Favourite Book?

Either Order of the Phoenix or Deathly Hallows! I’m not going to list everything I loved but I loved Order of the Phoenix because of the DA and that it was the book that Ginny, Luna & Neville really joined Harry, Ron & Hermione! And I loved Deathly Hallows as that is where everything ends, so much just came together in that book and I really enjoyed little things about it like when Kreacher leads the house elves out of the kitchens to join the battle! Little things like that just made that book perfect for me!

“It’s high time your grandmother learned to be proud of the grandson she’s got, rather than the one she thinks she ought to have — particularly after what happened at the Ministry.” – Minerva Mcgonagall (About Neville)

2. Least Favourite Book?

This is so hard as I love them all! But I would have to say Chamber of Secrets. I loved Chamber of secrets but I loved all the rest just a little bit more! Philosopher’s Stone is where it all started and where we met everyone! Prisoner of Azkaban is where we meet my favourite character, Sirius Black! Goblet of Fire, just so much went on and Dragons! Order of the Phoenix, I explained above, as well as Deathly Hallows. And Half-Blood Prince, we learnt everything about Voldemort we could!

3. Favourite Movie?

Goblet of Fire! I loved the movie except that I wished they had added in Barty Crouch Jr.’s story and Fudge’s denial at the end! Because in the movie it just didn’t really add up with the start of the next movie like it did in the book!

4. Least Favourite Movie?

Order of the phoenix, there was just so much missed in the battle at the Ministry of Magic that it just annoyed me. I felt like it built and built and then the last battle was just meh in the movie!

5. Favourite Quote?

“Prongs rode again last night… You know, Harry, in a way, you did see your father last night… You found him inside yourself.” – Albus Dumbledore

6. Favourite Weasley?

Can’t split them up! Fred & George!

“You’re a prefect? Oh Ronnie! That’s everyone in the family!”
“What are Fred and I? Next door neighbors?”
-Molly Weasley & Fre\d & George Weasley

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I

7. Favourite Female Character?

Book Ginny

“The thing about growing up with Fred and George,” said Ginny thoughtfully, “is that you sort of start thinking anything’s possible if you’ve got enough nerve.”

8. Favourite Villain?

I’m talking about horrible villain here, not villain that I actually like! Dolores Umbridge

“I WILL have order!” – Dolores Umbridge

9. Favourite Male Character?

Sirius Black!

10. Favourite Professor?

Minerva McGonagall, she is such a badass!

“Get back!” shouted Ron, and he, Harry and Hermione flattened themselves against a door as a herd of galloping desks thundered past, shepherded by a sprinting Professor McGonagall. She appeared not to notice them: her hair had come down and there was a gash on her cheek. As she turned the corner, they heard her scream: “CHARGE!”

11. Would you rather a) wash Snape’s hair or b) spend a day listening to Lockhart rant about himself?

If snape was tied down and couldn’t complain then hell yeah! That would be so satisfying and hilarious, make it all fluffy 😂

12. Would you rather duel a) an elated Bellatrix or b) an angry Molly?

Bellatrix, for 1) I love Molly and wouldn’t want to possibly hurt her! 2) Bellatrix killed my favourite character Sirius, so my anger could definitely be on a level with Molly’s!

13. Would you rather travel to Hogwarts using a) the Hogwarts Express or b) a flying car?

Well for a one of thing, it would be awesome to travel by flying car and then the other 6 years I could travel by train! As long as it’s a tad more reliable car that the Ford!  But if I had only one chance then I would choose the Hogwarts Express, just the experience would be amazing!

14. Would you rather give a) Voldemort a kiss or b) Umbridge a bubble bath?

Kiss voldemort, as long as it was surprise thing, would be hilarious his reaction, would probably get murdered straight away though! And at least it is over straight away! Giving umbridge a bubble bath would be a long thing that I would just hate!

15. Would you rather fly a) a hippogriff or b) a Firebolt?

This is a hard one as I would love to try flying on a broom, but at the same time I love animals it would be amazing to fly on a hippogriff! I also feel like that is something that very few would have experienced whereas basically everyone could ride a broom, maybe not a Firebolt, but a broom.

16. Is there a character you felt differently about in the movies?

Ginny, I just feel like the real her, the badass strong person just wasn’t showed as well! And also Kreacher, in the books he redeems himself in the last book so much! Whereas in the movie they don’t show that, so in the movie I just didn’t like him whereas in the book I really liked him in the end!

“The house-elves of Hogwarts swarmed into the entrance hall, screaming and waving carving knives and cleavers, and at their head, the locket of Regulus Black bouncing on his chest, was Kreacher, his bullfrog’s voice audible even above this din: ‘Fight! Fight! Fight for my Master, defender of house-elves! Fight the Dark Lord, in the name of brave Regulus! Fight!”

17. Is there a movie you preferred to the book?

There isn’t any movies that I preferred to the book, however there is one scene that I prefer in the movie rather than the book. In the Deathly Hallows book McGonagall is descending the castle just after she discovers Harry is back and has the run in with Snape. In the movie they are in the great hall and Harry comes out in the open and the rest of the order comes up behind him, Minerva fights with Snape in front of everyone to defend Harry! I love that scene it was perfect and I just think the book scene just didn’t as big of an impact!

“Coward!” – Minerva McGonagall

18. Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore?

I liked both and I’m not choosing one or the other!

19. Your top thing that you wanted in the movie that wasn’t in there?

Peeves! Need I say more?

“Which way did they go, Peeves?” Filch was saying. “Quick, tell me.”
“Say ‘please.'”
“Don’t mess with me, Peeves, now where did they go?”
“Shan’t say nothing if you don’t say please,” said Peeves in his annoying singsong voice.
“All right- PLEASE.”
“NOTHING! Ha haaa! Told you I wouldn’t say nothing if you didn’t say please! Ha ha! Haaaaaa!” And they heard the sound of Peeves whooshing away and Filch cursing in rage.”

20. If you could remake any of the Harry Potter movies, which would it be?

Order of the Phoenix, but all I would change is have the full scenes from the Battle at the Ministry! And also the whole scene from where Fred & George left Hogwarts, including Peeves! I liked the movie one with the fireworks and stuff, but I loved the book one so much more!

“Give her hell from us, Peeves” – Fred Weasley

21. Which house was your first gut feeling you’d be a part of?

22. Which house were you actually sorted into on Pottermore?

“You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry,
Set Gryffindors apart” – Sorting Hat

23. Which class would be your favorite?

Care of Magical Creatures! I loved Ag in school and that is just the magical version of that haha!

24. Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn?

All of them would be useful, but Lumos would probably be the most useful as I would never have to carry my phone around just for a torch!

25. Which character do you think you’d instantly become friends with?

This is so hard! Maybe Hermione because of her love for books and I also like the know it all part of her as I love learning interesting facts but I also wouldn’t necessarily read all those books myself! I also love the discussing and challenging my knowledge and I feel like Hermione is someone I could definitely do that with!

26. If you could own one of the three Hallows, which would it be?

Elder Wand! I don’t like the idea of the resurrection stone personally and if you had the most powerful wand in the world then surely you could create a shield for yourself good enough.

27. Is there any aspect of the books you’d want to change?

Of course I would love to change some of the deaths in the book, but I still wouldn’t I don’t think!

28. Favourite marauder?

Sirius/Padfoot! I love Sirius, so of course Padfoot is my favourite!

29. If you could bring one character back to life, which would it be?

Uhmm, Sirius!

30. Hallows or Horcruxes?

Hallows, At least the Hallows you don’t have to murder someone to achieve!
