Prompt: Books on My Fall 2024 To-Read List
While it is in fact not Fall here in Australia and outside it is very much giving spring vibes I still definitely reserve my September/October/November to the fall reading vibes. Also some fantasy slipped in too. Let’s jump in!

First off I have Bride which I currently have on my Libby holds so I will be getting to this very soon. Bride is a Romantasy featuring a marriage of convenience between the daughter of the most powerful Vampyre councilman & an Alpha Werewolf who is ruthless ruling his pack with absolute authority.

Bookshops & Bonedust by Travis Baldree
Bookshops & Bonedust has been on my TBR for too long now! I finally received it as Libby so I will also be getting to this one very soon and I’m very keen!

Kill for Me, Kill for You by Steve Cavanagh
Kill for Me, Kill for You is a Crime Thriller that I have been eyeing for a little while now. It’s based on two people committing murders for each other which I find fascinating! I’m very keen to pick this one up and see how it plays out!

Death at Morning House by Maureen Johnson
I know nothing about Death at Morning House! I don’t need to. It’s the newest Maureen Johnson and she is an autobuy author for me with no hesitation. She could write a book about cutting your grass with scissors and I would read it.

Such Charming Liars by Karen M. McManus
Another autobuy author for me is Karen M. McManus. I also have no idea what this is about outside being a YA Mystery Thriller. I’ve read every book that’s been released by her and marked every one 4 stars or higher.

Home is Where the Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose
This is a book I bought on a whim a couple months back and I knew it had to go on my spooky season TBR. As you can probably tell by the cover this is a Mystery Thriller. This was sounds so interesting! It follows three siblings who reunite to go through the belongings of their mother who has recently passed. When doing so they find some old home VHS tapes which they decide to watch for the memories sake. This soon find something much more sinister on one of the tapes.

This is the Way the World Ends by Jen Wilde
It’s been a long time since I’ve read a Jen Wilde book but the two I have read were 4 & 5 star reads so when I saw she was venturing into the Mystery/Thriller genre I was very interested to give it a go. Like majority of her other books this one is also LGBT+ which I definitely haven’t been reading enough of this year!

It Looks Like Us by Alison Ames
I haven’t read the synopsis of this one but after reading the tagline of ‘In antarctica, you can only trust yourself’ I was sold! It immediately made me think of the book Contagion by Erin Bowman. I love a isolated thriller when you have no idea who you can and cannot trust.

How to Find a Missing Girl by Victoria Wlosok
This is another book I picked up knowing nothing about it but the cover caught my eye. This is a YA LGBT+ Thriller and it’s compared to A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder which is a fave for me. I’m very keen to pick this one up.

Some Shall Break by Ellie Marney
A couple years ago I read the first book in this series, None Shall Sleep which I really enjoyed. I haven’t read a synopsis for this one but book one is a psychological thriller about two teenagers teaming up with the FBI to track down juvenile serial killers.
Well there it is, 10 books on my Fall TBR! I am soo keen for this reading season especially as I finally feel like I am coming out the other side of this slump that I have been in for months!
Let me know in the comments what book you’re most keen to read this fall! Have you read any of these? Let me know your thoughts!

I hope you really enjoy them all! Personally, I really liked Bride.
