Tag Sunday – Wonder Woman Book Tag

Header Image

So I’m back for another tag sunday! This tag was created by Amber @ Amber’s Books and More on Youtube.

Let’s get into it!

1. WONDER WOMAN: YOUR FAVORITE BADASS FEMALE BOOK CHARACTER

I don’t have an exact favourite so I’m going with 3!
Amani by Rebel of the Sands, Rose Hathaway from Vampire Academy & Alex from Akarnae! Also, an honorable mention is Ginny Weasley!

2. FANTASY ISLAND: A BOOK SETTING YOU WANT TO ESCAPE TO

Medora or the Wizarding World

3. LONDON: A HYPED BOOK THAT LET YOU DOWN

I didn’t hate either of these books but they were definitely not as good as the hype suggested!

4. STEVE TREVOR: A BOOK THAT HAS A BEAUTIFUL COVER AND A GREAT STORY (I.E. GREAT PERSONALITY)

5. LASSO OF TRUTH: A BOOK YOU HATED

6. WONDER WOMAN’S SHIELD: A BOOK SO SAD YOU NEED A SHIELD

I don’t really get the shield part of this question, but I will just go with 2 books that I found sad.

7. NO MAN’S LAND: A BOOK THAT YOU WANT TO SEND THROUGH NO MAN’S LAND (I.E. SHOOT IT TO DEATH)

8. ARES: A VILLIAN THAT IS SCARY, BUT YOU CAN’T SEEM TO HATE

Okay, so I won’t say exactly who this is as it would completely ruin the mystery of the book! But it is the villain from Daughter of the Burning City!

9. DR. POISON: A VILLIAN THAT HAS NO REASON TO EXIST

Yeah, I don’t really have an answer for this question…

10. THE AMAZONS: A BOOK THAT YOU WISH HAD MORE/BETTER LGBT+ REPRESENTATION

Well, there is a lot of books that I wish had more LGBT+ rep but for this, I’m going to go with ACOWAR. I won’t ruin anything but I feel like the certain LGBT topic was barely mentioned, so this wasn’t bad rep but there could be an improvement, so I’m hoping that this goes further in the companion series.

11. JUSTICE LEAGUE: WHAT SUPERHERO BOOK FRIENDS DO YOU TAG?

Because I’ll be doing them every Sunday, I am only going to tag 2 people in each so I’m not tagging the same people all the time! So each week I will tag my latest 2 followers! These will also be only followers that I follow back as well as there is no point in tagging someone I don’t follow.

  1. Great tag! Although I haven’t watched Wonder Woman yet so I don’t know much about it. Ahh so you really hate The Cursed Child..
The book thief broke my heart and will continue to break it into tinier pieces every time I remember it! 😭😭😭

    1. I haven’t seen the Wonder Woman movie yet either. I need to though!
And I couldn’t stand that book! It is horrible. It honestly reads as if the person who wrote it never even read the books, just watched the movies. The play itself might be good but I do not consider that book to be apart of the Harry Potter series.
And I know right! I’m not someone who usually gets upset about Book but that book and THUG just killed me at times.

      1. Yeah me too. I should stop avoiding it.
Agh well it’s good that your feelings are so clear. I’m still really confused.. do I like it do I not? I don’t know..
I’ll probably read THUG next month. No doubt I’ll love it!

  2. I expected to love it, being a Harry Potter book. But when there was the scene that crossed over with the 19 years later scene from Deathly Hallows and they changed the meaning, the wording and made it look like Albus actually didn’t like Harry was absolutely bull and from that point I knew I wasn’t going to like the book and it just got worse from then.
    Hope you do love THUG!

  3. Thanks for the tag! I agree about Flame in the Mist… it was good, but I didn’t feel like it lived up to the hype which was sad for me, because I love Wrath & The Dawn duology!

      1. I feel like Wrath is very different from Flame. It took me a bit to get into Wrath too, but I really liked it once I got into the story! I hope you like Wrath more if you decide to read it~

      2. One of my big issues with Flame in the Mist was the POV. I could not connect with the characters at all because of the 3rd person POV. It was very disconnected compared to every other book in 3rd person POV that I have read.
So hopefully Wrath is better. 😊

      3. I can agree with that, yes. I actually listened to it via audiobook and it was just weird, I couldn’t connect either and I couldn’t really follow as well as I usually can. (I do audio all the time, never have a problem following along.)
