The TBR Tag!

Yes, another tag!! I saw this tag on Silvia Reads Books and thought why not! She couldn’t find the original creator of the tag, so I have no idea who created it either!

I know I keep missing Friday Finds posts as I always do my blog posts and night and I go to the pub fairly often on a Friday night, so coincidently they are the ones I miss! And I am going away this Friday! So I don’t know how often I will be posting!

Now, onto the questions!

How do you keep track of your TBR pile?

Goodreads of course! And also blog posts for Reading Challenges for example the Winter Bookish Bingo. They help me keep track of what I want to read in the near future. My Goodreads is a little all over the place as I just see a book that looks kinda interesting and it goes on there. So there is books on there that I will probably never actually read but maybe I will haha. There is also books on there that are sequels to books that I haven’t even read and don’t know that I like yet. But oh well.

Is your TBR mostly Print or eBooks?

Well I have a lot of books on my iBooks app at the moment, as a little while ago I discovered an app called Bookbub. The app shows up what books are free or on a cheap special on iBooks. So when I discovered it I kind of downloaded a heap of books that looked interesting, so now I have heaps of books on there that I don’t even know what they are. But my actual TBR is mostly print copies.

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

During Reading Challenges & ReadAThons I just pick whichever book I want out of the ones I need to read for it. If I’m just reading normally then I just go whatever I’m feeling like.

A book that has been on your TBR list for the longest?

Well for this I’m going to go with the book that has been on my Goodreads TBR. And that is Rapture by Lauren Kate. This book I bought ages ago, like before I was even really reading often and at the time I didn’t realise it is the 4th book in the series. So I added it to my Goodreads when I first set up my Goodreads account ages ago and that when I figured that out. I didn’t actually start using my Goodreads properly till this year but I started it a couple years ago I think.

A Book you recently added to your TBR?

The last book I added to by Goodreads TBR was Gilded Cage by Vic James.

A Book on your TBR strictly because of it’s beautiful cover?

The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid was first added to by TBR for it’s beautiful cover.. But I have since read the Synopsis and it sounds like something I will enjoy anyway!

A book on your TBR that you never plan on reading?

There is a fair few Contemporaries on my TBR, and as I don’t really enjoy them as much as other genres then I probably won’t read most of them. Eliza and her Monsters byย Francesca Zappia would be one of them as I only even added it to my TBR because it has Eliza in the name and that is my name!

An unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for?

Traitor to the Throne by Alwyn Hamilton, I have been waiting for this book ever since I read Rebel of the Sands earlier this year!

A book on your TBR that basically everyone has read but you?

There is a few as I only really got into reading regularly this year, so I’m going to say The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer & basically anything from V.E. Schwab/Victoria Schwab.

A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?

A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas.. I’m getting there people.

A book on your TBR that youโ€™re dying to read?

An Ember in the Ashes by Saba Tahir, this has been on my TBR for a while now, I was meant to read it for a ReadAThon recently, but I never got to it. I will probably read it next after I finish the Snow Like Ashes series.
