Top 5 Wednesday – Books You Want To Finally Read in 2017

This week’s prompt is: Books You Want to Finally Read in 2017

1. World War Z by Markus Zusak

This book has been on my TBR since around the middle of the year as I was meant to read it for a ReadAThon, but it never happened and still hasn’t. So I hope to get to it soon. I want to listen to the Audiobook for this and use it in the Alternate Format category of the Winter Bookish Bingo.

2. An Ember in the Ashes series by Sabaa Tahir

I have owned this book and the next book in the series A Torch Against the Night for a while now and it looks so interesting! I’m keen to finally get to it.

3. Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

I have always wanted to read this. I never had bothered though, I have watched both the original Disney animated movie and the new movie. So I’m keen to eventually get to this.

4. Nevernight by Jay Kristoff

I bought this book earlier this year as it looked like something I would enjoy, Have to admit that it was kind of a cover buy, I had heard of it but knew nothing about it when I picked it up except that it was a YA Fantasy. I then read the blurb and Goodreads synopsis and it looks so interesting and I’m keen to eventually get to it.

5. Finish the Lord of the Rings Series & The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

I have Read The Fellowship of the Ring but I am still yet to read The Two Towers, The Return of the King and The Hobbit. There is of course more books in the Middle Earth Universe and I also want to read them all at some point.
