Top Ten Tuesday is a monthly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and you can find all the info and upcoming prompts Here.

This week’s prompts is: Thanksgiving freebie — tell us what you are thankful for! Books you are thankful for!

Because I really don’t know how to answer this question I decided to do an old prompt. So I am doing Books You Loved But Never Wrote A Review For.

All of these books are books that I read and loved before starting my Book Blog!

  1. The Trylle Series by Amanda Hocking

This was the first series I ever read. Yes before Harry Potter! And I loved it.. I don’t even remember how long ago I read it, but I know that I got the first book in the series in the Dolly Magazine..

2. The Kanin Chronicles by Amanda Hocking

This is the companion series for The Trylle Series and I liked it just as much as the Trylle Series! I loved exploring more about the other tribes. Highly recommend both these series to any YA fantasy lover.

3. Where the Outback drover’s Ride: Stories, Poems and yarns from the bush by Bruce Simpson

This book is real life stories written by Bruce Simpson. It also includes real photographs. This is an amazing book and for someone who wants to learn about Australian History, then I highly recommend this book! It would also be a good read for someone outside of Australia to learn about our History and not just the major events that everyone talk about, I mean the real History of the Australian Outback!

4. Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead

VampireAcademy-NewCovers

Another series I absolutely loved. I read this I think last year and I read the companion series straight afterward. I loved both of the series! And I absolutely love Rose Hathaway and also Adrian Ivashkof even though he was a bit of a tool in this series haha. Frostbite killed me inside!!

5.  Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead

bloodlines

And this is the companion series to Vampire Academy, I loved this series and I especially loved exploring other parts of the Vampire Academy world. Again recommend these books to anyone that loves YA Fantasy!

6. Divergent Series by Veronica Roth

I started reading Divergent the day after I saw Divergent in Cinemas. I loved it, straight away I recognised the differences between the first movie and book, but they didn’t bother me that much. I loved this series and I still do.. I haven’t yet finished watching the movies yet though!

7. The Watersong Series by Amanda Hocking

Another Amanda Hocking series! All three of her series that I have read are on this list, but I still want to read more by her! I love her writing. I had never read or really heard of Sirens, so this series was very interesting.

8. Traitor’s Gate by Michael Ridpath

17259528

This book is a Historical Fiction book that is based in Nazi Germany. The difference between this and most books I have seen about Nazi Germany is that this book is set in the weeks leading up to Hitler announcing open war. I recommend this to people who like Historical Fiction.

This is the first book in a series, but I haven’t read the second book yet, but I plan to.

9. The Maze Runner series by James Dashner

I really enjoyed this series.. I also liked the Maze Runner movie but didn’t enjoy the Scorch Trials and I haven’t seen The Death Cure movie yet obviously. The books were really good, I think my favourite book would have to be The Scorch Trials. Recommend to anyone that likes Dystopians..

10. Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

Of course, this series is on here! And I don’t think I really need to explain why! The main thing is I haven’t reviewed it as I read it long before starting my blog.

Well, that is it for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday!
