I received my YA Chronicles Subscription box today, fo September. Due to some issues they experienced with the quality of a product the September box got shipped later than usual. I’m not mad at this because YA Chronicles is always a good box and this also means I will be receiving 3 boxes from YA Chronicles this month!
I will be receiving Septembers, Octobers, and the special released Gemina box!
What You Need To Know About the Subscription Box
The YA Chronicles is based in Australia so for me this is great, being Australian the shipping is pretty cheap and the box gets to me quickly!
Here is the link to there website!
It says on the website that there is international shipping, so I’m assuming they ship everywhere, so I’m sorry if they don’t ship to your country!
I will only be posting costing in AUD, so if you want to know what it would cost in your country then you can go here to convert it, or comment your currency and I will tell you.
Cost of the Box: $29.99 AUD
Shipping to Aus and NZ: $9.99 AUD (this includes tracking)
Shipping internationally: $24.99 AUD (this includes tracking)
Also this subscription box is not automatically recurring, so you do have to purchase it every month, which is good because it means you can easily pick and choose the themes that you want to purchase
In this box every month, you receive a paperback YA book, a TYAC bookmark with that month’s theme on the back and 2-5 other bookish items. Each month is themed and the theme is announced as soon as the subscription box goes on sale!
Extra Info:
At the moment they have 2 previous boxes for sale on their website. They have May and June for sale and you can find this at the bottom of the home page. If you want to see and read about what was in each of these boxes then you can find that here on their Past Boxes page. The pricing is the same as the normal subscription box!
What I Received This Month:

I will write under each photo what is written on the description card that you get in the box.

Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake
Three sisters, three queens, one queen crowned. The Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake tells the story of triplet sisters; one elemental, one prisoner, one naturlist. At age sixteen the battle begins. Only one queen can be left standing. A fight to the death. The Winner may not be the strongest. But she may be the darkest.
Goodreads Synopsis:
Every generation on the island of Fennbirn, a set of triplets is born: three queens, all equal heirs to the crown and each possessor of a coveted magic. Mirabella is a fierce elemental, able to spark hungry flames or vicious storms at the snap of her fingers. Katharine is a poisoner, one who can ingest the deadliest poisons without so much as a stomachache. Arsinoe, a naturalist, is said to have the ability to bloom the reddest rose and control the fiercest of lions.
But becoming the Queen Crowned isn’t solely a matter of royal birth. Each sister has to fight for it. And it’s not just a game of win or lose…it’s life or death. The night the sisters turn sixteen, the battle begins. The last queen standing gets the crown.
If only it was that simple. Katharine is unable to tolerate the weakest poison, and Arsinoe, no matter how hard she tries, can’t make even a weed grow. The two queens have been shamefully faking their powers, taking care to keep each other, the island, and their powerful sister Mirabella none the wiser. But with alliances being formed, betrayals taking shape, and ruthless revenge haunting the queens’ every move, one thing is certain: the last queen standing might not be the strongest…but she may be the darkest.

Figured out why.. I deleted photos from my media library so I could find things easier and the photos I deleted have all disappeared off my posts.. didn’t realise at the time that would happen! Lucky I still have them all on my laptop.
