Top Ten Tuesday is a monthly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and you can find all the info and upcoming prompts Here.

This week’s prompts is: All About Books You Read Because of Recommendations. So, for this, I’m going to go with BookTube Recommendations!!
I haven’t actually read 10 books that I have got the recommendation off BookTube or any recommendation for that matter, so 1 of the books will be a current read and 1 will be a book that I want to read soon!

1. The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare

I have only actually read 2 of the books in this series and I’m not 100% sure I will continue it.. I’m jus not enjoying it as much as I thought I would be!

You can find my SPOILER FREE review of City of Bones here and my Mini Spoiler Free Review here!

5. The Illuminae Files by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

I absolutely loved Illuminae! I already have Gemina pre-ordered Gemina and it should be shipped very soon! I first heard of this book from Catriona at Little Book Owl on Youtube!

I didn’t actually read this book, I listened to the Audiobook that was voiced by Wil Wheaton! I highly recommend the Audiobook Wil’s voice was so fitting for this story and I absolutely loved it!

I didn’t do a review for this book, but I will if I ever read the book!

7.  The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater

8. Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

Another contemporary that I wasn’t a huge fan of. I’m not a big fan of Contemporary books, but I am trying to read more of them, but this was one that I didn’t like that much

I gave this book a 3 star rating and you can find my SPOILER FREE review here!

9. Amy & Rogers Epic Detour by Morgan Matson (Currently Reading)

I loved the first Morgan Matson book I read which was The Unexpected Everything and I am enjoying this book so far! I am only 49% of the way through!

I will have a review up as soon as I finish this book! I have been concentrating on listening to the audiobook of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban lately, but I only have a couple hours of it remaining and then hopefully I will finished this book pretty soon after that as it’s a pretty quick read.

10. Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon (To Be Read)

I hope to get to this book soon! I have seen it recommended heaps on both BookTube and Book Blogs and it’s also a contemporary and I am trying to read more of them!

  1. I would buy the audio book of Ready Player One just to hear Wil Wheaton narrate the book. ❤️ I’ve read a lot of good things about that book. I was hoping it would go on sale at some point. I bought Illuminae this week on a kindle sale. It sounds like an awesome book. I’m glad you loved it. I haven’t read one bad review for that series. 🙂
