Book Travelling Thursday is a weekly meme created by Danielle and Cátia. All you have to do is a pick a book that is related to the theme, the themes are announced on the Goodreads page. Once you have chosen a book you need to find the original cover, the covers from your country, your favourite cover and your least favourite cover.
So this week’s theme is: Choose a book that you think it should be a classic in a few years. So I am choosing the Harry Potter series, I know my last post was one of the Harry Potter books, but I already consider this book a Classic. I don’t know if it already is or not, but it should be!
Cover from my Country:
Australia doesn’t have a specific Harry Potter cover as we get mostly the UK editions
This is the iBook/Kindle editions. I love the iBook/Kindle editions that were recently updated to these beautiful covers when they added the illustrations and extra info to the digital editions.
These are the original Bloomsbury Children’s editions and they are gorgeous. I love the illustrations and they are also the copied I own.
This is the 15th Anniversary edition. These are also just gorgeous! Out of all of the covers that I don’t own this is the one I want the most!! I love the spines of these! It’s such an awesome idea! The covers are also really beautiful and I love the illustrations!
These are the new UK Bloomsbury editions. I don’t like the illustrations, especially of the characters. I don’t know what it is but I really don’t like it. The only one I like is the Prisoner of Azkaban cover and that’s because I like the stag on the cover and the colours.
These are the 2013 UK Adult editions. I don’t like these, I think they are boring and I prefer the illustrated children’s editions!
These are the original US editions, I really don’t like the illustrations in this edition!
This is the original Bloomsbury Adult edition! These are just way too dark and it just doesn’t feel like a Harry Potter book to me.
Well, that is it! Which is your favourite! Let me know in the comments!
