So, a while ago I read The Raven Boys and I absolutely loved it! You can find my review for it HERE! I wish I had read this book straight after The Raven Boys because I couldn’t really remembered what went on in The Raven Boys. I ended up reading a plot synopsis thing online somewhere because I read 3 chapters or something and was a little confused.

I know it took me forever to get through this book, but my study has been taking about a lot of my time and I have been soo tired by the time I got to reading at night.

Writing:

I love Maggie Stiefvater’s writing! Her writing sucks you into the book and you can’t put the book down! Her writing is beautiful and I love the way she describes things!

Plot:

I loved the plot for this book! It continues on from where The Raven Boys left off. I love the concept of this book and love how is tied into the plot from The Raven Boys! I honestly think I liked this book just as much as The Raven Boys, not more though. I know a lot of people have said they like this book better but it’s equal to me. I’m really curious to see what the next book has in store so far they have been so interesting!

Characters:

I love Blue, Gansey Ronan, Adam and Noah. I wish we heard about more of Noah in this book, but they have a reason for not having him in this book as much. I still love Gansey and I love that we got to see more of Ronan in this book! I love all the residents of 300 Fox Way, they are so funny and interesting to me! I also really enjoyed The Grey Man, even at the start before he meets Maura.. Also, towards the end of this book we find out something about Ronan that I suspected from the first book! I got so excited when it was kinda confirmed and I was like YES I KNEW IT! 😂

Overall:

I love this series so far and I am so keen to finish the Book Travelling Thursday post so that I can get to my room and start Blue Lily, Lily Blue! This is well on the way to being another favourite series!
