Top 5 Wednesday – 24th August

So this is my first Top 5 Wednesday and the first meme I’m participating in. This Meme is hosted by Thoughts on Tomes and the prompts for each week can be found on Goodreads.

This week’s prompt is Book You Want to Read Before the End of the Year. Some of these will be finishing series’s rather than just a single book.

1. Finish Anna and the French Kiss series by Stephanie Perkins. I have read Anna and the French Kiss but I want to read Lola and the Boy Next Door and Isla and the Happily Ever After. I really enjoyed the first book and loved the writing style!
   
   

   

   
2. Finish the Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater. I have read The Raven Boys but I am yet to read The Dream Thieves, Blue Lily, Lily Blue and The Raven King. I really loved The Raven Boys, it was so different from anything I have ever read!
   
   

   

   

   
3. Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I will be starting this book probably tonight or tomorrow! I have heard so many good things about this book and the style of the book is very intriguing and I find it interesting that it’s not just paragraph after paragraph, they included other methods within the book.
   
4. Nevernight by  Jay Kristoff! Another book I have heard tonnes about! I find the concept of the book so intriguing and interesting and I haven’t heard of anything similar to it. There probably is, but I haven’t heard about it.
   
5. Lastly, I want to read the Shades of Magic series by V.E. Schwab. So far only A Darker Shade of Magic and A Gathering of Shadows have been released and A Conjuring of Light is meant to be out in 2017.  I love fantasy books and a book about a magician who can skip between worlds. Sounds awesome to me!
