In 2023 I threw myself into Digital Bullet Journal and it was a good decision to make creatively for me. I will be doing a post ‘flipping through’ my 2023 spreads but for now I wanted to share my 2024 spreads. As usual I use the Procreate app for my digital bullet journalling. I use Procreate for my business and am very used to use it so for me trying to use the other available apps like GoodNotes I just couldn’t get them hang of them. or I kept wanting to do something specific but I couldn’t as those apps didn’t have that feature. This resulted in me having to go to Procreate and create that thing then move it back to the other app which just seemed pointless when I could do everything I wanted over on Procreate. So this is where I ended up. Procreate is a paid app, so if you want a free option GoodNotes is a good app once you get used to all the controls.
I was inspired for my 2024 spreads by a theme I found on Pinterest. Unfortunately though the link that the pin took me to was an Etsy store and after having a look it appeared to be a store that steals content from other users. I recognised the art on some of the other digital downloads they had for sale from digital artists I follow. The one I got inspiration from though, I’m not sure who the original creator is in order to create them. If you know please comment! But for now, let’s jump in!

Firstly of course we have a simple title page for 2024. This is very similar to the inspiration I used but with a different colour scheme, font & leave drawings. I actually drew 3 different leaves & use them throughout all the spreads.
Next is the Goals page. Last year I only had headings for my goals but this year I decided to add some prompts as well which I found on a pinterest post.

Next we have a couple trackers. Firstly a Mood Tracker which is actually not a spread I’ve ever done before. I think I had a little Mood Tracker in a monthly spread a few years back but besides that I’ve never really thought to use one. I’m not sure if I will actively use it but we will see how it goes.
Then is a Plant Tracker which I’m just using to track the last time I watered my plants. They are split up by location as I tend to do them in groups based on location rather than doing them all in one hit as I have a lot. I have a bit of an issue with remembering how long it’s been since I’ve watered, so I thought this might help.

Next I have my 24 24s in 2024 which is an idea I got from JashiiCorrin on YouTube and this is my second year doing this challenge. Basically you include 24 things you want to do 24 times in 2024. These can be common things that you’ll probably do anyway or things you just want to challenge yourself to do a bit more.
This is another JashiiCorrin inspired thread, the ‘Last Time I…’ which like the plant tracker is a way to track the last time you completed certain tasks. All my tasks are related to my animals or cars but you can do it for basically anything.

And another JashiiCorrin one actually. I think she calls it ‘Then & Again’ or something like that but basically at the start of the year you write down something for the prompts and then do the same at the end of the year to see what’s changed. For example, the most recent book you read, the last song you listened to, what you’re looking forward to. Or you could even do favourites, so your favourite song in the moment, etc.
Then we have a bit of a savings challenge. I do have a couple savings accounts for different things but this is just a general savings challenge of $50 per block and you colour then in as you go.

Next we have my Highlights Reel where each month I chose 4 photos from something fun I did that month and put them in the box. Just an easy memories page basically.

Now onto the book spreads we have a Books Reads bookshelf. I’ve never actually done this one before. I have a spreadsheet that I track every read on but I decided to give it a go this year. If I fill this spread I’ll just duplicate the template and keep going but this does fit a decent amount of books.
Then we have another new spread with the 5 Star Hall of Fame. I can’t remember where I got this idea from but I know it was a video on youtube at some point but you just put the cover of the books you gave 5 stars to.

Then we have my trackers. So I track the Star Ratings, how many pages the book had & what format I read. Generally I have a 4th for genre but I decided to incorporate that into the book shelf in the spreads above so the bookshelf wasn’t all just one colour or something.

Then as always I have a ‘book bracket’ or whatever you want to call it. If you don’t know what this is, each month you chose your favourite book and put it in one of the spots in the top row. Some people do it in order, some people randomise. It doesn’t really matter. Then the two go head to head and you keep narrowing it down until you get the top 3 and then finally chose your favourite book of the year!
Now onto another new one we have my Physical TBR bookshelves. So my goal in 2024 is to read books I’ve had on my shelves for a while. So I put every book that I own a physical copy of that I haven’t read yet on this bookshelf. I also have all these on a numbered spreadsheet and I use a random number generator to help chose my TBR when I don’t know what I want to read. I am of course allowing myself to DNF and I also have a Temp DNF colour for if I started a book and put it down because I just wasn’t in the right mood or headspace for that book at the time but I want to get it another go or I want to try it in another format.

Then we have my Daily Pages Read Tracker where I record how many pages I read each day of the year. If I didn’t read anything that day I’ll simply colour it in grey as well, though I don’t have that on the key specifically.
Of course we have my 10 Books to Read in 2024 where I chose 10 books from my TBR that I want to read this year.

Lastly we have my two series trackers. One for Graphic Novesl and one for Novels. This is just to keep track of what I’m up to and especially because one of my goals is to finish series or at least catch up on series up to what’s released. On the Series Tracker pink indicates that I’ve read it previously to 2024 & blue is for not release yet. Some of these are releasing in 2024 though so I’ll just erase that as they release. I will also use a different colour to indicate when I read a book this year. Same for the Graphic Nove one just the colours are switched so it was a bit easier to tell them apart when going into them.
Well that’s all for my 2024 Digital Bullet Journal set up! Are you bullet journalling or digitally journally this year?

I love your digital bullet journal set up for 2024 π€© itβs so creative and colourful!
