January 2022 📚 TBR

I have a rather ambitious January TBR so fingers crossed I have a good reading month! I’ve added 2 books from my 22 books to read in 2022 list to this TBR which I’m going to try and do every month. Let’s jump in!

Physical/eBooks

Firstly I have 2 January releases! A Flicker in the Dark will be a maybe, depending on when my pre-order arrives but I’ve heard amazing things. Where the Drowned Girls Go I have an eARC for. I’m planning on picking it up next as I’m very keen!

Day Zero & All These Bodies are both on my 22 books to read in 2022 list! I wanted to slightly avoid straight fantasy in this TBR as I haven’t been having the best time with it lately. So I thought these two would be perfect as they are a Dystopian & a Thriller.

Lastly for physical TBR I have The Last Legacy which is the last book in the Fable series. I tried to read all 3 books in this series in December but when I finished book 2 I wasn’t home to pick up book 3 & it wasn’t available on eBook. So I ended up picking up something else instead at the time. Hopefully I will get to it in January. Also the eBook releases on the 18th so I will be able to grab that to read in bed.

Audiobooks

Besides God Storm this Audiobook TBR has a bit of a colour scheme going on… Firstly we have some Mystery/Thrillers as I’ve been on a kick. This Lie Will Kill You which is a YA Thriller, Final Girls which is an Adult Horror/Thriller & lastly The Marlow Murder Club which is a Adult Cosy Mystery.

Then lastly for the TBR we have two books I started in December but kind of DNFd as I wasn’t in the mood for them or other things appealed to me more. Will try and finish both God Storm & Red Skies Falling this month! Fingers Crossed.

Well that is it for my January TBR! Hopefully I stick to it but I’m also kind of a mood reader, so we will see. Wish me luck!

Let me know what’s on your January TBR or what you’re currently reading!

Thanks for reading! Eliza

  1. I’m a bit behind on the series, but I do want to focus on catching up on the Wayward Children series this year – I’ve loved the first three and just need to make it a priority!

  2. I’m currently reading about 5 books, and one of my main goals for January is to finish those as well as any other books I’ve started and put down in the past few months! I also have a buddy read that I actually need to start soon. But being a mood reader I never quite know how my reading will go each month!

    1. Totally get that! I find it hard to do buddy reads or group reads and stuff because I’m such a mood reader. I used to run a book club but I ended up stopping it as I was forcing myself to read books and not enjoying them because I just wasn’t in the mood at the time. 😫
