In January I tried 4 times to read a book physically but I just wasn’t feeling it and ended up putting it down after a chapter or two OR swapping to audiobook. I can’t be sure if this is an actual slump or if I’m just not in the mood for those books. As I was in Bookopoloy ReadAThon I didn’t have a huge amount of control over what I could choose to read. I’ve been in a huge Mystery/Thriller kick lately and I just didn’t have books of those genres that could fit in the challenges, so I was left with a lot of Fantasy which I haven’t been in the mood for lately… I won’t talk about the ones I stopped reading as I didn’t read more than 2 chapters of any of them & I’m not even counting them as DNFs.

Well that is all the books I read in January. Definitely not my best month but not too bad considering I was struggling to pick up a book. Thank goodness for audiobooks!!

You read many! Everyone seemed to struggle to read in January, don’t beat yourself up. Ten Thousand Doors was my favourite book of 2019, I really want to find time to re-read it.
