Merry Christmas everyone! Today I will be talking about YouTube channels I have loved this year. These aren’t necessarily ones I am still avidly watching as I tend to only focus on a couple channels at a time. So they change fairly regularly. I’ll talk about BookTube channels first & then talk about other random channels.
Booktube
Books with Chloe
Books with Chloe has been a go to for a long time & I also support her on Patreon, so I do watch most of her videos over there rather than actually on YouTube but of course I had to include her! She is a fellow Aussie & I just love her vibe! I have especially loved her recent Moving Vlogs as they have been making me so excited & hyped to move out early next year. I also especially love her vlogs!

I love Emily so freaking much! I have been watching her channel for years & I just love every video she puts out. We have the same views on romance in YA books so that is awesome & I also have a pretty similar taste to her, especially when it comes to Sci-Fi books. I also love how genuine and brutally honest she is! Videos where she is ranting about books are my favourites by her!

I go in and out of interest with this channel. I binge watch a heap of her videos in a week and then don’t watch anything for like a month! I still go back though… I recently watched an hour & a half video she posted reading horror books… I don’t even read adult horror & had heard of like 2 of them & didn’t even add any to my TBR BUT I still watched the video!

ASMR Rooms
I love listening to Background music while reading and ASMR Rooms has been my go to for a long time! I love all the Harry Potter & LOTR inspired ones. They are all so beautifully done! I’ll share my favourite below but honourable mentions are Hufflepuff Common Room (original, not remake), Hogwarts Library REMAKE, Waking up in Shell Cottage & Mirkwood

This is hands down my favourite Bullet Journalling channel. I watch others on occasion but this is the one I go to for inspiration. I love her spreads & the little doodles she does. I also just like her voice. Which is kinda of random but when you are watching a video that is mostly voice overs, that’s important!

There isn’t a time since I discovered Safiya that I haven’t watched Safiya.Even though she doesn’t post as often as she used to I still am always on the look out for her latest video & I occasionally binge rewatch her older stuff.

Molly Burke
Another one I have been watching for a fair while! I really enjoy Molly’s personality & all her videos. I do love her normal (none blind girl) videos just as much as the videos that are more centred around her being blind & her educating people on blindness. I really enjoy that her videos are fun but also educational & I’ve learnt a lot about blindness & the blind community since I started watching her channel.

I will talk about these together for obvious reasons. I love Cristine and enjoy every one of the video she puts out on her main channel! But I also love her Podcast style channel. I can just turn it on and have it playing in the background and just listen for hours. I love that it’s somewhat educational as well as just talking about their lives. I really enjoy listening to this one!

Bailey Sarian
Okay yes this is a make up channel, however, I don’t really watch for the make up, though she is good! I 100% watch this channel for her Murder, Mystery & Makeup Monday series! Every Monday she does her make up while talking about a true crime story. Which I find fascinating. I love true crime stories and Bailey just has a way of telling these stories that I really enjoy. I’ve only just discovered this channel is recent months, so I have just been making my way through the playlist.

Royalty Soaps
I love Katie, I love Kenny, I love this channel! I find watching soap making videos very calming but also this channel is super fun! Katie always has such a good time making these soaps & it comes across in the videos! I also love her brother Kenny, he is just hilarious!
