September 📚 Most Anticipated Releases

Today I will be talking about the books that I am keen for that are releasing in September 2020! I have already pre-ordered 4 of these and will probably end up purchasing a couple more in the coming weeks! So let’s jump in!

1st September

Firstly I want to mention Fable! I have already read this one and you can find my spoiler free review HERE! I absolutely loved Fable so I can’t wait for my physical copy to arrive as it is a gorgeous cover.

I actually got my shipping email for this one about an hour ago from when I’m writing this (Thursday 20th) so this may even arrive before release date which would be exciting!! Queen of Volts is one of my most anticipated sequels and I feel like I have been waiting so long for this one! I can’t wait to see how this series wraps up and I might even end up doing a reread of books 1 & 2 before jumping into Queen of Volts! Which would be super fun.

This one I am mildly keen for! I enjoyed Serpent & Dove but there were a couple things I wasn’t a fan of. Hopefully that will be better in this book but I will have to wait and see! I have pre-ordered this one as I want to read it soon while I still remember what went down in Serpent & Dove. So hopefully I will get that chance in September!

I haven’t heard a tonne about this one but both the synopsis & cover intrigues me so I am keen to give it a go! This is a YA Mystery/Thriller and the synopsis sounds so freaking intriguing! I love a good Mystery and am actually so keen to read this one.

I love Amie Kaufman’s writing and I have recently read one of Meagan Spooners works and really enjoyed it so I thought I would finally pick up another book from this duo! I did read Unearthed but didn’t love it so I’m hoping this one will be different. This one does sound a bit romance heavy which I’m not usually a fan of but I am still curious.

8th September

This one looks amazing and I actually have a sample of this one from NetGalley which I am going to give a read a bit before release so that way if I love it I can grab the eBook or order the book as soon as it releases! War Girls sounds super interesting and like a mash up of Sci-Fi & Dystopian which I am here for!

21st September

I am lucky enough to have an eARc of Firsfrost which I plan to read in early September before it releases! This one sounds super intriguing but I can’t lie, that stunning cover is what really drew me in!

22nd September

I honestly know nothing about this book besides the title sounds amazing and it’s by Garth Nix. I have read Sabriel by Garth Nix which I didn’t love as I tend to find really heavy high fantasy books like that hard to follow but that’s just a personal thing. This one however is not a high fantasy by the sounds so I’m hoping this is as good as it sounds!

29th September

I absolutely loved Dear Martin by Nic Stone so I have been impatiently waiting for Dear Justyce to release basically ever since it was announced. I am hoping it will be just as amazing as Dear Martin but I will have to wait a bit longer to find out.

Marie Lu has been a bit hit of miss for me so far. I really enjoyed Warcross, Liked Legend & Prodigy but didn’t love The Young Elites as much. So my ratings for her are a bit all over the place and I have no idea what to expect for this book! Hopefully I love Skyhunters as it sounds amazing!

I think out of all those Queen of Volts, Dear Justyce & The Inheritance Game are the ones I am most keen for!
