So if you don’t know the duodecathon is a monthly ReadAThon. There is challenges for this ReadAThon but the cool thing about this one is you have the option to pick from 12 challenges. So there is 12 challenges for the 12 months of the year and the idea is that you participate each month so that by the end of the year you have completed all the challenges!

CHALLENGES TO PICK FROM:

Read 1,200 pages
Start OR finish a series
A 2017 debut author
A short story
A Graphic Novel
A Non-Fiction book
A Book that has been on your TBR for 2+ years
A book with multiple authors
A book you picked up because of the cover
A book that has to do with travelling
Someone else’s favourite book
The first book on your shelf you have read

So I  haven’t been participating all year as I have either not had time at the beginning of the year with my Diploma taking up most of my time Jan-March and I honestly was having such a good reading month in April I honestly just forgot and then it was too late and then in May I had already done 1 ReadAThon and I just didn’t feel like doing another.

And I will be choosing the Read 1,200 pages challenge for this ReadAThon. I think this will be easy, the ReadAThon runs for 7 days so that is only 171 pages a day which I do anyway, well lately I have been. I have been having awesome reading months and reading tonnes! I read a 400 page book yesterday so I’m pretty sure I will be able to handle 171 pages a day!

Also as you can tell from the title this will be more likely Possible Reads.. I have basically been picking up whatever I feel like lately, so this is just some of my options! It will also depend on what books I finish before the ReadAThon as I may very well pick up and read a book on this list before the ReadAThon starts if I feel like reading it.

Since receiving my copies of the Gryffindor Paperback & Hardcover 20th Anniversary editions I have felt like rereading Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and the extra info in  20th Anniversary editions!

I want to reread Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets using the Illustrated edition! I did this with the Philosopher’s Stone illustrated edition when I first got it but I have had the Chamber of Secrets one for ages and still haven’t done it! I have flicked through the book but I probably haven’t actually looked at every illustration in it!

This one and the next book will definitely depend on what I feel like at the time as to whether I will read them or not! I have a few contemporaries on my shelves, most of them are from The YA Chronicles subscription box and I want to try and knock them off my TBR shelf. Everything Everything I did purchase myself as it is a diverse book in the fact that the main character has a condition that not many people have and very few know about.

This is a book I received from The YA Chronicles and this isn’t a book that I would have bought for myself if I hadn’t received from them. This is a YA Contemporary Romance which is okay sometimes but majority of the time I won’t pick up. So it will depend how I feel at the time as to whether I will read this or not. I prefer contemporaries that have something else going on besides the romance, for example Geekerella was mainly about the TV Show and the convention and everything else so I could concentrate on that rather than the romance side of things being the main thing. I don’t care for romances that much in books, especially cheesy or instalove type romance. So hopefully this is a good book…

This may be a book I pick up before the ReadAThon honestly as I picked it up last night and read the synopsis and I am intrigued! This book is classed as a Sci-Fi/Dystopian/Fantasy and they are my 3 favourite genre’s so how can I say no?!

Pages: 488

So if I read those 5 books I would have read 1,753 pages. But as I said they are just possible reads.

    1. They so are! I wish I could afford all of them! They would just look so nice together! I hope they have them for a while and they don’t sell out or anything for a while until I can buy atleast all the hardcovers. 😫 they too pretty not to have! And that EXTRA info inside that’s different for each of the houses! Need to know it all!
