Yay! Finally something for the Aussie’s in this Book Blogging World! This tag was created a few months ago now by Ngoc @ Happy Comes First on Youtube and Julia @ Picnic Reads. I can across this tag while searching for Aussie Book Bloggers as I have been trying to follow more Aussies!! So, if you have other Aussie Book Bloggers to recommend, please leave links to their blogs in the comments!
1. KOALA: A character you want to cuddle ALL DAY LONG
I just finished Snow Like Ashes earlier today, so that is still all that is in my head right now! So, I’m going to go with Theron, he was such a fun character and I loved how Kind and thoughtful he was and he has a massive book collection?! Come on!
2. VEGEMITE: A book you love that everyone else hates
I don’t know that I have a book that fits this category! I have books that I love that I have NEVER seen mentioned on any of the blogs I follow or BookTubers I watch, but that doesn’t fit..
3. SOCCEROOS: Fave fictional squad
Seen as neither Ngoc or Julia picked just one, neither am I! It’s so hard to pick only one!
The Harry Potter Squad, which I include not only Harry, Ron & Hermione but Ginny, Luna, Neville and Fred & George to be a apart of too!
The Raven Boys Squad, I have only read the first book, but I love Blue, Gansey, Noah, Ronan and Adam. They are such a fun and interesting group!
The Miss Peregrine’s Squad, which started out huge! But I include basically all of the Peculiar Chidlre, including Jacob, Emma, Millard, Enoch, Olive, etc.
4. SOUTHERN CROSS: Most recent 5-star read
Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch, like I said I finished it early today! Review can be found here!
But others have been Gemina, The Book Thief, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, Hollow CityΒ & Library of Souls
5. PATRIOTISM: Fave book by an author from your country
The Illuminae Files by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman. Both Australian Authors!
6. ECHIDNA: A book you like to look at, but it physically hurts to read
I think all the Harry Potter covers are gorgeous and this books defiently hurt to read! The feels!!!!
7. NED KELLY: A book that is really grim, but an iconic must-read
I’m going to go with The Book Thief by Markus Zusak or The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
8. GREAT BARRIER REEF: A book that had you gaping in awe
Just one?! I’m going to go with the last book I read that absolutely amazed me and that is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling
9. PAVLOVA: A light & fluffy book that you can’t help but love
The Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson, i usually read Fantasy and they aren’t exactly light & fluffy haha, so a contemporary I actually liked it is.
10. MILO: A genre/author you reach for to get you out of a reading slump
Anything Harry Potter! Or Fantasy books! Contemporaries kinda put me in a slump, so I always go back to Fantasy. But if I’m in a really big slump I go and read Harry Potter and it puts me back in the mood to read. But then I end up reading the entire series and don’t get anything else read for a while!
Well that is it!
Most of my Aussie book bloggers I have already seen tagged, so sorry if I tagged you and you’ve already done it, I’m too lazy to check!

I had a mild heart attack with your answer for ‘echidna’ lol. I thought you meant HP was painful as in horrible to read. πππ but I agree those books kill me!! π«π«
I follow some great Aussie blogs I’ll have to tag them here when I get to a computer. Trying to tag people on my phone is a painful process lol.
