#HPWeekendAThon Wrap-Up

Okay so the goal was  5 books, I decided to read 4 instead and I only ended up reading 2! Didn’t go as good as I hoped.

I never intended to read the book for Challenge 4: Dumbledore: Read a book that features LGBTQIA+ Characters. As I said in my TBR post, I didn’t want to purchase any books for this challenge, one because I’m unemployed at the moment and two because they wouldn’t have turned up from Book Depository on time. So I only intended to read 4 books from the start.

Day 1:

I started reading Heartless by Marissa Meyer at about 2am on the 2nd of November. I would have started at 12 but I was writing my spoiler free review for The Book Thief which I had finished reading at about 11:30pm that night. I finished Heartless at about 4am on the morning of the 3rd. A bit later than I had wanted as I hope to get it done before midnight, but oh well!

I also wrote my review for Heartless the next morning.

Day 2:

On day 2 I wrote by review for Heartless when I woke up at about 9. A mate and myself went to Chinchilla (the next town from where I live) at about 11:30 and got there about 12, had some KFC and went to the movies and watched Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. We got home from Chinchilla at about 3:30/4 and started reading Fantastic Beasts straight away, I got about half way and then went up to my Mum’s for Birthday dinner for a family friend. When I got home I finished reading Fantastic Beasts and then wrote my review!

Day 3:

I don’t remember what time, but I started reading Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch after midnight on the 3rd day, I read to Chapter 6 I think and then went to bed, the next day I was pretty busy and only got to chapter 10 read and went to bed fairly early because I wasn’t feeling great

Day 4:

I woke up feeling like crap and turned out I had some virus that was going around town, so all day I basically just laid around watch The Big Bang Theory and didn’t feel like doing anything. So I didn’t finish Snow Like Ashes.

That is all I read. I wish I could have read more but I’m just glad that I got those 2 books read on the first two days!
